I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article List of Korean fabrication in Wikipedia, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:List of Korean fabrication in Wikipedia. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. --stephenw32768<user page><talk> 14:21, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from creating inappropriate pages such as List of Korean fabrication in Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. --Calton | Talk 01:21, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and some helpful reading: WP:SOAP. --Calton | Talk 01:26, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've deleted the above-mentioned page as it qualified under Wikipedia Criteria for Speedy Deletion as an attack page: In this case, an attack upon our Korean and Japanese editors. If you see information which is not correct and you have reliable sources, please correct the page instead of making an article listing the pages as incorrect and disparaging the ethnicity of the editors who wrote them. If you feel this page just has to exist, please see Deletion Review. Thanks. ~Kylu (u|t) 05:10, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, thanks. I don't know why you mention ethnicity. I try to edit that page with source again.

You have a problem[edit]

I think you may have realised by now that your zeal to solve a perceived problem has brought you into conflict with our policies and guidelines, as well as with other editors. This happens fairly often. Please be aware that the Wikipedia community is usually aware of the controversial nature of certian events and in general has already taken steps to represent all points of view fairly, although of course there are examples which still need work. The way we deal with conflicts in editing is "bold, revert, discuss". Please continue to engage on the Talk pages of the disputed articles, but do not be tempted to create new articles which better express your version of the issue. Please be aware that tendentious editing very often leads to blocking or even an outright ban from Wikipedia, I am sure you don't want that any more than we need the low drama it inevitably involves. Happy editing, Guy (Help!) 16:38, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
