G80[edit]

G80 "rumors" have been reported and independently cofirmed by various "news" sites. Very rarely are specifications for any kind of processing hardware released to the general public, they are stolen from internal engineering presentations or leaked by egineers. The vast majority of the information already on the table did not originate, in fact, with nVidia. My intent with adding that to the article was primarily to begin the work of adding the information for a new generation of hardware, which requires a table reformat et al. Not to "report rumours." This is a message to all Category:Kerala Wikipedians

I want your opinion on this particular person Pradip Somasundaran. He claims to be a famous singer in Kerala. Now being a Malayalee, I have not heard of this person before, so I wonder whether or not you have heard of him before and set this issue straight. If so, then please let your opinion be counted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pradip Somasundaran. Please note that by voicing your opinion as a Malayalee/Keralite will add more weight to your words.

Many Thanks --Ageo020 21:42, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your concern, but I'm not sure what you mean by your uploading problem, as the uploading function shouldn't even fail in dial-up connections. Could you provide the names given the new images? Neither Image:NFS U PC.jpg nor Image:Nfsubox.jpg have detected any new image uploads. ╫ 25 ◀RingADing▶ 15:04, 26 November 2006 (UTC) ╫[reply]

The lag when updating image is common but addressable. I have encountered this "image distortion" issue a few times, but after a while, the new version usually shows up. But as stated, I'm haven't find any clue that indicates Image:NFS U PC.jpg or Image:Nfsubox.jpg have been updated, so I'm not sure which image you are referring to. Usually, if an image is uploaded to another image with the same name, the image's page should record any replacements. ╫ 25 ◀RingADing▶ 17:58, 26 November 2006 (UTC) ╫[reply]
Unfortunately, I'm really busy right now, and I'm not the position to spend some time looking for a proper cover art. I'm afraid you have to look for someone else to do this. Sorry. :( ╫ 25 ◀RingADing▶ 18:36, 26 November 2006 (UTC) ╫[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article PC Tools (Windows software suite), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. intgr 03:11, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tomb Raider Move[edit]

I know you were trying to help, but when you move an article, you're supposed to use the move function instead of creating a new article and then redirecting. The move function moves over the article histories. I reverted your move, and tried to do it properly, but since you already created an article with the new title, it wouldn't let me. I've filed a request for an administrator to do it. Please do not try to do it yourself in the interim. ColdFusion650 19:20, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

When you want to move an article, click "Move" at the top of the page. This moves the edit history as well. On the move page it says "Do not manually move the article by copying and pasting it; the page history must be moved along with the article text." Since it's the only thing on the list of uncontested moves, it should get taken care of fairly quickly by administrator. ColdFusion650 19:27, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Maaza logo.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Maaza logo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. Cricketainment a legitimate article[edit]

Cricketainment is a valid word and is newly coined word in 2008. Cricketainment is very much a part of reality and this word is already popular with a huge section of people in India and elsewhere. It should be noted that "cricketainment" is not merely a word but a new concept of entertainment that is revolutionizing the sports and entertainment sector in India. Also it should not be redirected to IPL since IPL is one of the clubs which is merely implementing the concept. Even ICL is implementing cricketainment, and in future more clubs or organizations may participate. So i strongly feel that such an article should exist as it defines a new concept and merits it existence in Wikipedia with more contributions from people. I think it very well serves the purpose for which wikipedia was establised to include new terms, concepts and grow this encyclopedia to encompass knowledge around us.

disagreee with your views[edit]

i think my article was inline with the 5 pillars of wikipedia. Reasons 1. There are many similar articles in Sports entertainment category like cricketainment. 2. Cricketainment is a very verifiable article with numerous references to it on the net and media. its just that not much is written about it since not many people are aware about it. 3. 'spare the rod' Are such statements threatening people with dire consequences allowed in wiki. I did not see them in the 5 pillars or any of the guidelines.

Image copyright problem with Image:GRAW PC.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:GRAW PC.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in recent months.

The article The Way (magazine) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No claim or evidence of notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Fayenatic London 22:21, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
