Improvements to the FIFA World Cup[edit]

  • That the defending champions will automaticaly qualify for the FIFA World Cup.
  • This will be the new format for the 64 team FIFA World Cup.

  • Imporved Format: Increased to 24 teams as from UEFA Euro 2016

  • That the defending champions will automaticaly qualify for the UEFA European Championship.
  • This will be the new format for the 24 team UEFA European Championship.

Improvements to the CONMEBOL Copa América[edit]

  • That the top 6 CONCACAF teams in the FIFA World rankings will automaticaly qualify for the CONMEBOL Copa América.
  • The draw of the CONMEBOL Copa América should be a week after the January FIFA World Rankings so they know who is the top 6 CONCACAF teams in the FIFA World Rankings.
  • This will be the new format for the 16 team CONMEBOL Copa América.

  • Current Format: 12 teams
  • Imporved Format: Increased to 16 teams

  • Instead of 4 teams from the Caribbean Championship increase to 8 teams
  • This will be the new format for the 16 team CONCACAF Gold Cup.

  • New Zealand automaticaly qualifies for the AFC Asian Cup for more competition from AFC teams than OFC teams
  • This will be the new format for the 24 team AFC Asian Cup.
