Edit Explanation

Hello Mreatwashacked,

Thanks for messaging me regarding my edit. I hit enter before I could leave a full description of my edits, however, my modifications were mainly made to remove quantitative statements that had no sources (such as the boot production) and phrases that read as advertisement/biased opinions. I am new to contributing to articles so thank you for lending a helping hand. I'd love to make this article more neutral and fact based.

Regarding the Movie "Battle of Lake Changjin"

Hello.

I added reference to support the material. This is indeed the most expensive Chinese movie ever made.

Reference from NY time.

Tamera Foster

Why have you removed my contributions to Tamera Fosters article? I am a dedicated fan and just want to create something of her and you keep removing it saying that it’s spam? Jaich.x (talk) 00:30, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

Mr Rat, Jaich's edits were not entirely vandalism. A brief look at the edit history shows that Jaich was legitimately trying to create a page for the subject, however, did not provide sources nor were they able to demonstrate the subject's notability. @Jaich.x: Please look into our policy regarding biographies of living people to better understand what we can and can't accept in regards to writing about living people. For being kind. I'm feeling generous with the cookies today. Th78blue (They/Them/Their • talk) 01:08, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

Your reversion at OBS Studio

Why did you revert an IP's removal of the Streamlabs section at OBS Studio for "unexplained content removal"? They explained it pretty clearly in the edit summary. Please assume good faith and do not revert overeagerly -- I see that several people have already noted some other incorrect reverts above. eviolite (talk) 15:05, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

General Miller

You keep taking true information off Austin Millers wiki page. Don’t understand your reasoning for this. There are scammers taking General Millers identity and that is factual information pertaining to General Miller unless you may be apart of the scammers. You can look on Facebook if you don’t believe me. 174.212.165.109 (talk) 05:11, 8 December 2021 (UTC)

Studio C episode list

Hi,

I was wondering why my edits where deleted? What count as constructive edits? How does adding episode descriptions not count as constructive?

What test edit?

Why you are saying that the edit was non-constructive?

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

You emergency slapped me just for an old revert plus you have a reason at the bottom, please give a valid reason and remove the YOUR REASON HERE and move your reason there. Mr Eat (talk) 06:31, 21 December 2021 (UTC)

Hello

Is there a reason you are editing my sandbox? I created an account and I thought sandbox is for you to create your own pages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mathacoo03 (talkcontribs) 20:25, 17 January 2022 (UTC)

The sandbox if for everyone, people can clear the sandbox whenever they like. Mr Eat (talk) 20:30, 17 January 2022 (UTC)

If you are annoyed that someone is clearing the sandbox that you just edited, you can use your own personal sandbox. Mr Eat (talk) 20:40, 17 January 2022 (UTC)

Vandalism reverts

Hello, can you explain why you thought this edit was vandalism? There was an ongoing content dispute, which the IP user seems to have taken one of the two sides of, and had given a detailed explanation of their reasoning. It doesn't seem to make sense for you to have reverted them and warned them for vandalism, as they didn't vandalise anything. Endwise (talk) 08:00, 12 March 2022 (UTC)

Teyora - Development first look!

Hi! I'm Ed6767, the original creator of RedWarn, now one of the most popular tools on the English Wikipedia that's been used by over 1,000 Wikimedians to make over 300,000 edits since mid-2020 that's been praised for its user friendliness and ease of use, but criticised for its limited functionality. I'm leaving this message as I think it may be of interest here - I left the RedWarn project in November to develop Teyora, my successor to RedWarn (alongside Chlod's UltraViolet). It's a new in development web app that uses some of the latest web technologies to create a highly extendable all in one editing tool with a focus on administration, counter vandalism and general patrolling - not to mention, it'll work on every Wikimedia project without any prior configuration and can be used by any user with at least auto-confirmed rights*. Now, I'm ready to give the Wikimedia community a first look at what I've been doing over the past six months and what to expect going forward.

You can check out the 20 minute first look at the in development version on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzlpnzXdLP4.

There's lots more to expect too! Why not read the full details page at meta:Teyora and leave any feedback, comments or wishes at meta:Talk:Teyora (please leave any correspondence there to keep discussion centralised). If you're interested, you can leave your signature

*with basic features, advanced features require configuration. To prevent abuse, auto-confirmed users will be in a restricted mode until approved by an admin or via rollback rights.

All the best, ✨ Ed talk! ✨ 23:17, 15 April 2022 (UTC)

Oops

I accidentally undid your revision [teardrop tattoo] thinking it was vandalism; the page gets vandalised a lot.

Have undone that

Please leave sandbox cleaning to the bots

The Sandbox is cleared regularly by a bot, and the header is also replaced. It's automated, and there's no need for you to clean it. There are thousands of things in Wikipedia that require, or could benefit from, the attention of a human being. Please focus on those rather than replicating the work of a bot. Thanks, BlackcurrantTea (talk) 10:52, 15 May 2022 (UTC)

RE: Recent edit.

Hello,

I just edited a page because the person the page is talking about has died. His son called me this morning to tell me. Esteban has been a friend of my family for all of my life. It is factually true that Esteban died. Supervisor Phil Serna even put it on his Facebook page. How do I cite this?

Proof of death:

https://www.facebook.com/phil.serna.7/posts/10229132463959410

This is the page I edited:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esteban_Villa

Message from you:

"Information icon Hello, I'm Mreatwashacked. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Esteban Villa, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:51, 29 November 2022 (UTC)

Jimmy Hall page reverts

Greatings User Mr. Eats. You need to slow your trigger finger down - and DO NOT MASS REVERT any series of edits you have not taken the time to become adequately familiar with. The edits were all constructive, good faith, and demonstrated a clear understanding of how to use this encyclopedia. Thank you, however, for providing a suggested remedy - which is not as good as NOT having one's edits summarily reverted, particularly those of sensitive new users who may abandon Wikipedia after being treated so brusquely. 2601:196:181:BE00:C194:3105:B814:3AB2 (talk) 22:51, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
