A favorite pastime is casual curiousity regarding Slavic etymologies rooted in archaic protoindoEuropean tongues, in particular that of my husband's patrilinear heritage in Romania.[reply]

The Sumerians were a non-Semitic, non-Indo-European people who lived in southern Babylonia from 4000-3000 B.C.E. They produced an extensive body of literature, among the oldest in the world. One of them affects you in that you have made substantial contributions to sections which seem to be off topic: most of the Etymology section has little of nothing to do with etymology; the section Human body as icon of the communio personarum is really a separate article which goes far beyond perichoresis. I agree with the deletion of most of material you added about the Pallottine martyrs.

I took your original material, which had a lot that told us nothing about Francis, and put some of it in a note and moved it to what I believe is the appropriate location. Promoting the beatification process is what Francis has done. Your information really wasn't about his relationship with the government.

Disagree on what is meant by "relationship" - you seem to wish to reduce it to temporal secular POV, a ludicrous proposition since the man is ordained to holy orders so he's not merely a politician or NGO activist, he's concerned with eternal permanent values such as beauty, goodness and preeminently, the truth which unites in peaceful trust or lack thereof which sows discord that can lead down the path to the sort of coercion and violence perpetrated by govt authorities on the Argentine people.MrsKrishan (talk) 18:01, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You then added even more material that has nothing to do with Francis, which has since been deleted as not relevant to Francis. The Pope Francis entry is a biography and we have to be careful how much we include that isn't about him.

Cowardly use of passive voice "has been deleted" doesn't absolve you of having an opinion on the relevance of spiritual material to a spiritual man and who gets to decide the merits of same. Let's seek consensus here on that topic first: is martyrdom a relevant topic or not? Then, perhaps discuss "Is it relevant that the man who now holds the keys to five matrydoms was present, participated in the events surrounding their sacrificial deaths and promoted their cause?" I'm rather befuddled by this focus on 'material facts' that supposedly must be "telling us something about Francis" as if events in his life were just political or historical coincidences, when quite obviously they are not, they are of immense spiritual value, a POV that belongs in an article on a spirital personage elevated to the highest office (in a Catholic understanding, which I can't assume (talk) or (talk) shares, Pope Francis has the power of the keys, to elevate these murder victims to saints or lock them out as one of a number of usual victims of the tyranny of relativism/dictatorship of ideology such as aborted babies etc.). I think I agree with Ogress that there were too many problems with the material you added to be allowed to stand. Most of it was unsourced and seemed highly speculative. Especially the etymological information seemed problematic to me. I think if you want to add parts of it back, you should make sure only to add parts that can be sourced to good sources.
