To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Progress[edit]

Mrsmith5USI, You have created an account and enrolled, but you still have not edited your user page and then messaged me at my talk page.Crtew (talk) 02:20, 24 September 2013 (UTC)  Partly done[reply]

You can still edit your page. Take the tutorial at Education_Program:University_of_Southern_Indiana/COMM_192:_Intro_to_Mass_Communication_(Fall_2013). The link "Training for Students" is on the top of our course page where you enrolled.Crtew (talk) 02:23, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been assigned René Orta Salgado (click here to edit). Crtew (talk) 02:26, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Renee Orta Salgado.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Renee Orta Salgado.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. I went in and fixed your templates for fair use of the photo. You have to follow the instructions exactly or else the file will get deleted quickly. It should be ok now, though. My Guardian Angel work is done for tonight (I think)! Article is looking better, Crtew (talk) 02:50, 14 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Salgado review[edit]

I like that there are more details and citations now. That's good.

As for suggestions, here are my required 3:

1. I would go back through and make sure that there were no English mistakes. Mind you, this doesn't only apply to grammar, but word choice and usage, not being wordy, condensing certain bits, et cetera.

2. Work on the voice. Since it's an encyclopedic article, everything is supposed to be very cut and dry, very formal. I like the voice, don't get me wrong. I like when I read something and it feels like the author is talking to me. However, it isn't always the best way to go.

3. I would try to add even more details. For example, if the people listed under the Personal section's names are available, I would include them. I would also include why names that you do have are important as well as include those people in certain groups that are cited.

Overall, still, I do like it. I'm glad that the basics (most important) are covered and that a reader can still get an idea of this guy from a quick glance at the article.
