Marcelo Sansevieri[edit]

Marcelo Sansevieri is a Uruguayan born American film and tv editor with over 40 film and tv credits[1]. His range of editing includes a mixture of comedy, drama and action.

Following nearly fifteen years of assistant film editing on features such as “Steel Magnolias”[2] & “The Hunt for Red October” [3]he began editing under the mentorship of many legendary editors.

He was an Associate Film Editor on “Citizen Cohn”[4] with Peter Zinner, an Additional Editor on “The Net”[5] with Richard Halsey and as an Additional Editor on “Multiplicity”[6] with Pembroke Herring.

After acquiring top level editing skills during his mentorship, he became an established editor starting with Drew Barrymore’s “Never Been Kissed”[7], a Film Editing credit shared with another previous mentor, Debra Chiate.

His TV editing credits include Tracey Ullman’s “State of the Union”[8] for Showtime, “Strip Mall”[9] for Comedy Central, “10 Items or Less”[10] for TBS, Robert Townsend’s “Little Richard”[11] for NBC, “Gortimer Gibbons Life on Normal Street”[12] for Amazon Studios and “Andi Mack”[13] for the Disney Channel.

He is a member of IATSE Motion Picture Editors Guild Local 700 since 1987.
