Issues re Moorestown Friends School[edit]

Regarding your recent edits of the article for the Moorestown Friends School, Wikipedia guidelines on the content of school articles specify that mission statements and lists of college acceptances are generally to be avoided as promotional and unencyclopedic, which is why this material was removed from the article. Exhaustive details of the school's Examined Life program are similarly excessive and unencyclopedic, and have been removed. While the data from the National Center on Education Statistics have not been updated, they are reliably sourced and use appropriate definitions of full-time employees for the purpose of calculating student-teacher ratio, while the data from the admissions office may be more current but does not have a source that meets Wikipedia standards. Your username appears to be similar to the name of a school employee responsible for publicizing the school, and I suggest that you review Wikipedia policy on conflict of interest, which is an inherent issue when editing an article about an organization that someone works for. In terms of notables, Mary Ellen Avery has a Wikipedia article and a source establishing a connection to the school, and has been kept in the article (in alphabetical order). Hughes, Faulkner and Smith do not have both Wikipedia articles and reliable sources establishing a connection to the school, and have been be removed based on Wikipedia policy on inclusion of notables in such lists of alumni. Please feel free to contact me on my talk page with any questions about how to best go ahead with updating and expanding this article. Alansohn (talk) 20:21, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
