Your edits at Mondragón look mostly good, but why did you delete a perfectly good reference? -- Jmabel | Talk 19:23, Jan 24, 2005 (UTC) Hmm. Once something is a reference used in the writing of an article, it doesn't cease to be a reference just because it is more heavily used elsewhere. Anbotoko Mari

I'm not sure I understand the "see also" leading from Anbotoko Mari to Olentzero. It might make sense to create an article (or category) with a name like Basque myths and legends, mutually linked with both, but as far as I can tell their only relation is one of common category, which doesn't really merit a "see also" -- Jmabel | Talk 19:10, Jan 25, 2005 (UTC)

Pronouns

Do you have a philosophical objection to pronouns? I find your changes today to articles on individual British MPs rather aggressive. He and she are often nicer than surnames, even at the beginning of paragraphs; it also avoids confusion with peers. --Audiovideo 23:39, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Lord Parmoor

Looking at the category, I see that a number of other peers were categorized that way. I guess I don't have any problem with it, although it does introduce a subjective inconsistency in our categorization policy. I would suggest asking John Kenney or Lord Emsworth about it; they've been more engaged on peerage naming than I have. Mackensen (talk) 11:49, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Hi - I made a list of users who've been around long enough to have made lots of edits but aren't admins. If you're at all interested in becoming an admin, can you please add an '*' immediately before your name in this list? Hi! Sorry about the edit-conflicts we had. I wanted to ask you if you could make a new map of the departments of Chubut Province with the numbering in the Chubut Province#Political division section. Actually, I found it funny that we were working on the same things at the same time but I think together we have improved the Chubut pages considerably. Good idea on the map, I'll amend accordingly. Yeap, I'm also glad with the improvements. If you wish, I can make PNGs out of your GIFs/whatever. The easy way: Send them to me attached in a mail and I will upload them; the hard way: fake the extension (rename to .PNG) and upload them with GIF format but PNG name. Croydon Council

Hi M, this whole thing has now been taken out of our hands, by the look of things. Your article "Croydon council" has now been redirected back into "London Borough of Croydon". Yes, as has been stated it probably is better in "London B...", as it is more consistent with the other London borough articles. Yes, also, as you said, the previous "L. B. o C." article was getting too large and could not have accommodated the Council/townhall details. On the whole it's been a good effort for Wikipedia. Dieter Simon 23:54, 23 September 2005 (UTC)

It now seems a waste of time to quibble about where things should go, mainly due to the length of the now recreated "Croydon" article, which had to absorb most of the historical, cultural, industrial and mercantile details.
