Maybe add a column named "List" to the table in the section "Universities by state and type" linking to List of educational institutions in statename#Universities since most articles exist and should (ideally) have a Universities section too. Plus, having a section named "Universities by state and type" with no links to the individual lists seems a bit weird.--Siddhartha Ghai (talk) 23:58, 24 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nicely done. Now we need to fix the state lists. I'd copy-pasted alphabetically till Madhya Pradesh I think, wee need to copy-paste the rest, then subsection them per WP:INEI/HELIST. That will atleast fix those articles by half (and copy-pasting from the autonomous list should take care of the "Autonomous Institutions" section.
