Hi[edit]

Hi, it seems that you are interested in Marathwada or Parbhani related articles, if you have any problem regarding editing on Wikipedia then feel free to ask me on my talk page. You can be a better contributor. There is lack of editors who work on Marathwada related topics, as per my observation Im the only editor to actively edit or create articles related to Marathwada. It will be better if you contribute more actively if you have time. There are many articles on Villages in Marathwada can be created, if you have any problem regarding new article creation then ask me. Thank you. --Human3015TALK  14:20, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Maharashtra may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Urdu[edit]

Hi, I have noticed that you have added Urdu name to many cities of Maharashtra. You should know that we write only official language name in such cases. Official language of Maharashtara is Marathi, so at most we can write name in Marathi script, no other script can be written. There many minority speakers in Maharashtra who speaks Gujarati, Urdu, Kannad etc, we don't write those. It will be better if you self-revert your edits, because I don't want to increase my edit count unnecessarily. Thank you. --Human3015TALK  04:31, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

I noticed your recent edit to Parbhani does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Hi again[edit]

Hi, I have seen your reply on my talk page. It is nice thing that you are interested in creating village articles. First thing I would like to tell you that, you replied to my far above first message, it means that you have also read other messages on your talk page. I will suggest you to not add "non-official" language script to various cities, we can add Urdu script in cities in Uttar Pradesh or Jammu and Kashmir because Urdu has official language status there, but we can't add it to cities in Maharashtra because Marathi is the only official language of Maharashtra. This is English Wikipedia and we are not suppose to add any non-English language, but as per consensus we add only official language script in infobox because Template:Infobox settlement also has option for "native name". (I will tell you about village articles). --Human3015TALK  04:06, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Now regarding creating village articles, actually new editors should follow WP:AFC procedure to create new articles, but as you are creating village articles then you can create it directly because every settlement is notable and we can create article on it. There are few simple ways to create new article. I will tell only one. Go to search option above, type a village name there and search it. For example if you want to create article on Deothana village, then search Deothana, You will get this result. Then click on red link and create a new article. But minimum things you should add is "infobox" and "demography" section in village article. You can see some village articles like Zari, Bori, Pokharni etc. But do not create any other article other than villages by using this procedure. There are many things that I can tell you, but telling all things in one day will confuse you, you will learn yourself by the time. First you use your "Sandbox" and make draft of village article before you paste it to red link. You can see option of Sandbox on your right side above, it maybe red in your case. Click on it, it is very useful.--Human3015TALK  04:31, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that you are more interested in Parbhani district. I have already created template named Template:Parbhani district villages. You click on this template. I have added mostly all villages having population more than 2,000 in this template. You can create red linked villages in this template. I am creating those villages with very slow pace because I also work on many other projects other than villages. So thats why I'm happy that I found someone who is interested in Parbhani district villages. So please don't get blocked, you should follow advices of other experienced editors, you can be good or veteran editor someday. --Human3015TALK  04:44, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A tag has been placed on Gandour, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of http://www.gandour.com/site/about. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.

  • It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa (talk) 21:14, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article Gandour has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Cut and paste re-creation. Tags are out-of-date upon creation of the article, and the page was previously speedied the same year as the dated tags

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- SlitherSnakeSempter, 22:50, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Gandour for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Gandour is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gandour until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.  I dream of horses  If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message  (talk to me) (My edits) @ 06:22, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Sudhir Chaudhary (journalist).

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Sudhir Chaudhary (journalist). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Thanks for creating Ukhalad.

A New Page Patroller SkyGazer 512 just tagged the page as having some issues to fix, and wrote this note for you:

The second reference you have is very nice, but the rest are user-generated content, and are therefore not considered reliable. I've added a category to the article, tagged it as a stub because it's rather short, and copy-edited the article a bit. Let me know if you have any questions and good luck with wiki-editing!

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can reply over here and ping me. Or, for broader editing help, you can talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Nationalist Yuvati Congress moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Nationalist Yuvati Congress, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. File permission problem[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Abdul Rehman Khan Yousuf Khan.jpg and File:Abdul Rahman Khan with Indira Gandhi.jpg. I noticed that while you provided valid copyright licensing tags, there are no proofs that the creators of the files have agreed to release them under the given licenses.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Additional note: I understood that the images are attributed and there are (possible) permissions to use them, but an evidence is needed for this (as you can see with the modified notice above). You can ask the copyright holders of the images (in this case, Jazeb Maroof Siddiqui and Irfan ur Rahman Khan) to release it under an appropriate license and send the evidence of that permission to the Volunteer Response Team, where they will confirm that permission. See WP:PERMISSIONS for more details. Ntx61 (talk) 14:29, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

A tag has been placed on Parth Pawar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Disambiguation link notification for July 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rahul Vedprakash Patil, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Doctor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:14, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Maharashtra State Board of Waqfs requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from mahawakf.com/history. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

A tag has been placed on Maharashtra State Board of Waqfs, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

Dr. Zakir Hussain College moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Dr. Zakir Hussain College, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, Samaq. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Nationalist Yuvati Congress".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 17:42, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ARBIPA sanctions alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

May 2022[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Gyanvapi mosque. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Kautilya3 (talk) 09:55, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Gyanvapi mosque shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring, as you did at Gyanvapi Mosque. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Abecedare (talk) 16:34, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Maharashtra State Board of Waqfs. logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Maharashtra State Board of Waqfs. logo.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 13:37, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
