Slow down!

Why are you creating lists of redlinks of other lists? I think you are going about this backwards. Create some actual lists of listed buildings then combine those into lists of lists if needbe. LadyofShalott 15:51, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

Going top down, not bottom up. I have the full database ready for the individual lists. You can see an example at List of listed buildings in Tibbermore. Multichill (talk) 15:53, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
Like I said, that seems to be backwards. That Tibbermore link is a good list, but, for example, List of listed buildings in Orkney Islands is currently useless. When you say, "I have the full database ready for the individual lists", what sort of timescale are you working on to have the actual information on there? LadyofShalott 15:56, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
This weekend if you're not consuming too much of my time ;-) Multichill (talk) 15:58, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
Fine. I won't do it, but you know that there are people who would speedily delete those lists of redlinks with no questions asked, and they'd be justified. I do advise changing your order. Create the real lists, and the meta-lists afterwards. LadyofShalott 16:05, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

Err... a "list" generally contains more than one item

I do appreciate the work you are putting in here, but this new article is quite frankly preposterous:

It will take any sentient being max 5 seconds to work out why. --Mais oui! (talk) 14:46, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

And this is just plain silly in its present form:
--Mais oui! (talk) 15:04, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
When the lists are all created some shifting around and/or merging will probably happen.
I'm planning to do the cities last because these need to be split up:
  • EDINBURGH - 4829 listed buildings
  • GLASGOW - 1846 listed buildings
  • DUNDEE - 875 listed buildings
  • ABERDEEN - 1040 listed buildings

A barnstar for you!

The Brilliant Idea Barnstar
Excellent work on creating the Scottish listed building lists, I proposed this back in 2010. I was wondering if you could extend it to England and Wales and the whole of GB? They are massively needed on here I think. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 14:58, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
Thank you Dr. Blofeld,
I keep my notes at Commons:User:Multichill/Monuments notes. First up is Scotland, my plan is to do Wales next. I started {{HB Wales header}} and {{HB Wales row}}, but that's still very rough. Multichill (talk) 15:45, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

Excellent. I did create Listed buildings in the Vale of Glamorgan. Feel free to override/redirect once the lists are generated.♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:23, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

NRHP header

Could you help me to modify {{NRHP header}}, please? I'm interested in adding a citation to the "city or town" column for our Indiana listings (I can give more details if you care why), but it presently can't be done. I'd like to be able to do it in a manner comparable to the way that one adds citations to the Site name column. Nyttend (talk) 12:00, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, too, for the listed building lists. I've wanted to see these for a long time, both for information at AFD and for image categorisation at Commons. Nyttend (talk) 12:04, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
