A tag has been placed on Www.multifaiths.com, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please stop[edit]

Please stop creating articles that are simply external links to other websites. These will be deleted per our policies on speedy deletion.--Isotope23 17:16, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Shri swaminarayan - birth details[edit]

A tag has been placed on Shri swaminarayan - birth details, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Probable copyvio (see talk/bottom of page), in any event unencyclopedic

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. exolon 18:32, 6 April 2007 (UTC) o[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Shri Swaminarayan - Birth Details article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. (aeropagitica) 08:19, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Copyvio or not, the article is totally unencyclopedic. We are not interested in an astrological reading for the guy. -- RHaworth 08:52, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you create an inappropriate page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -Cquan (talk, AMA Desk) 08:54, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violations and other things[edit]

Creating articles with copyrighted material and simply placing a reference at the bottom does not alleviate the copyright violation. Also, all material on Wikipedia needs to be written in an encyclopedic tone, which the deleted articles were not. Also, the articles lacked sufficient context to give readers some idea what they were looking at. Have a look through the Manual of Style amongst other things. Also, you may want to place a {{helpme}} tag on your talk page. This will alert editors that are willing to help you through whatever problems you're encountering. Also, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. -Cquan (talk, AMA Desk) 09:06, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
