Test edits & sandboxes[edit]

If you want to make test edits, then instead of doing them in article space, visible to the encyclopaedia-reading public, you should do it in a sandbox. You can use either the general sandbox, or your personal sandbox, which doesn't exist yet, but you can create it by clicking on the "sandbox" link at the top of this page. Hi, thanks for message. You can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide adequateindependent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Although you provided some references, they each seemed to refer to one word of the text, the name of the company or a product, so most of the text is effectively unreferenced. Each ref should follow the fact it is confirming
  • Your refs mostly do not meet the criteria linked above. Sales sites like Amazon, blogs, your own site and web pages that can be self-edited or are of unknown provenance are not acceptable, nor are pages that just report what the company has said
  • Not a reason for deletion, but your refs would be more intelligible formatted with a description <ref>[url description]</ref>.
  • There is nothing to demonstrate notability, it's all about what you are trying to sell, nothing about the company itself. Where is it based (Norway is a bit vague). How many employees? Turnover? Profits?
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic.
  • The text is entirely about what you are trying to sell, rather than about the company
  • Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: is known for its product... provides abundant API help, demos and documentations about its different products... mostly used in the financial and banking industry sector... Highstock can easily handle more than 1.7 million points... Highmaps also supports different features— and so on. It's a sales leaflet
  • You have a spam link in the text to cloud.highcharts.com, and you have links to sales sites like Amazon in your references
  • Just one external link to the main site is permitted, not all the social media
  • i did it in french and i received a comment "Not in French"&mdash You could always post your French version on French Wikipedia

I suggest that you write a draft in a sandbox, because in its present form it will not be accepted Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:28, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Territories[edit]

As I explained, it is tautological. The countries are already enumerated in a table further down [1]. Kind Regards-- Soupforone (talk) 02:46, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited SNVI, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Congo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:42, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Highsoft, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Dependency wheel moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Dependency wheel, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 06:43, 26 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Dependency wheel, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:24, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

AfC notification: Draft:Dependency wheel has a new comment[edit]

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Dependency wheel. Thanks! DGG ( talk ) 05:53, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Dependency wheel[edit]

Hello, Museagle. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Dependency wheel".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 02:15, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Highsoft logo.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Highsoft logo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 11:30, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
