March 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Janice Whitby has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://thegolddiggers.wordpress.com/dean’s-list/ (matching the regex rule \bwordpress\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 10:46, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Uploading photos/images/files[edit]

Hi. You don't need AWB to upload files. You can do that as soon as you complete 4 days as a registered editor in Wikipedia. Thanks, Magioladitis (talk) 21:45, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved your request to WP:RFPERM/confirmations but as you see, you'll be able to do that in a couple of days anyway. Rodhullandemu 22:34, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Golddigger.jpg.w300h324.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Golddigger.jpg.w300h324.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Eeekster (talk) 23:46, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Janice Whitby do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Janice Whitby. Our verifiability policy requires that all content be cited to a reliable source. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:13, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I added what I believe to be reliable references and external links that meets the guidelines. As for the image I uploaded, it was submitted to me by Janice herself. However, I hereby request this photo to be deleted. --Mysterious Outcome (talk) 12:43, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
