License tagging for File:2016 Big East Tournament Logo.png

Thanks for uploading File:2016 Big East Tournament Logo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

Creighton colors

Hey, just a couple of things:

  • Sorry aboutt this edit. I hit the wrong button on my IPad.
  • We're now using the module for colors in infoboxes for athletics. Was there something wrong with the colors for Crighton? I looked at their website, and these are the colors I found. If the darker blue is the main color and not the lighter blue, let me know and I'll change it.

Thanks, ☔️ Corkythehornetfan 🌺 14:22, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

What's up! Don't worry about the edit, it happens to all of us! For Creighton's colors, I tried to make the changes neccessary to the module but believe I did not doing correctly. Forgive me for my mistake. That being said, the lighter blue is Creighton's primary color (it is known as CU Blue on the website you mentioned). Creighton's alternate colors are white and navy blue. If you could make these changes I would greatly appreciate it as a Creighton student. Thank you! --NJ Jurrjens (talk) 23:51, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
You changed it in the module's sandbox. CU Blue is what the university calls it for branding purposes, but their media guides (pg. 7) says "Blue". We are going off of the athletics website quick facts/media guides because this is the more accurate information. As for the navboxes, the Navy blue is the background for WP:CONTRAST reasons. The CU Blue is not AAA compliant with white font, but Navy blue is. This is why it displays like this in the navboxes, but shows the "CU Blue" in the Infoboxes. Hope this explains things, better. ☔️ Corkythehornetfan 🌺 00:16, 13 April 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 25

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015 World Series, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Frank Thomas. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
