Request reason:

I have read all of the articles that admins and editors have pointed me to; I feel that I finally know the details of the Wikipedia system. As I am still new at this, I want to know how are NASCAR and Fire Departments considered inappropriate and vandalism. Also I have read the articles about unblocking and admins so I will also be applying for admin, However I ask that the person that blocked me not be involve in the process of determining whether or not I get unblocked or get admin and remember elves are not creatures so I want to know why I got blocked

Decline reason:

Seems pretty clear case of NOTHERE, particular the nonsensical statements posted throughout the talk page here. only (talk) 04:00, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just a quick comment that Nascarman1 continually makes a mess of this page. To see the contents before Nascarman1's repeated efforts to bowdlerize the page, you'll have to try to make sense of the history. Technically, in their latest edit, they removed nothing that would violate WP:BLANKING (@Nascarman1, removing this comment would be a policy violation, so please leave it intact).--Bbb23 (talk) 00:18, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bullying[edit]

Sorry about the way you've been treated Nascarman1. There are a lot of bullies here. Please be patient while we sort things out. Your contributions are appreciated. You do need to slow down a bit and get the hang of how things work here. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. Candleabracadabra (talk) 04:02, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have to agree with Candleabracadabra on this. The way you've been treated is rather disturbing and disgusting and for that I am truly sorry. I hope you stick around and take the good advice offered by Candleabracadabra. Good luck! Caden cool 23:17, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Speaking as an uninvolved editor who has looked over your contributions, it would probably help if you read WP:OWN, WP:SOCK, and WP:BATTLEGROUND and indicated here if you understand why edits like these are heavily, heavily frowned upon. Unblock Request[edit]

unblock | reason=I have read the articles and feel that I now better understand Wikipedia and it's rules including WP:OWN, WP:BATTLEGROUND

Read this please[edit]

Based on the way you've been editing, there's no way you're going to get blocked and your talk page privileges will be revoked soon enough. You may remove other people's posts. You may not edit them as to change the meaning. --NeilN talk to me 00:29, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Questions for Bbb23 and NeilN[edit]

Bbb23 what was wrong with my articles. All I was trying to do is make NASCAR teams articles, because I felt it wasn't fair for the big teams to have articles but small teams not

NeilM I was only on wikipedia for 2 days before I got blocked, and I would like to know what I did and what was wrong with my editing

This is your last warning. If you make another edit like the one Neil reverted where you altered the basis of the block in the block notice, your talk page access will be revoked.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:40, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You likely would have gotten unblocked eventually if not for these edits: [3], [4] and now edits like this: [5]. Have you read the links I provided above? It doesn't seem you have as you keep on doing this: [6] --NeilN talk to me 00:42, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bbb23 can you please tell me what was wrong with my Jim Rosanblum Racing page ----NascarMan1

NeilM - I read the first one and I don't understand what is wrong with asking how to delete pages. I saw someone deleted my page and I was wondering how I can flag something for deletion and delete something. As for the signing thing I have tried numerous times to try to sign but I can't find the button on my keyboard, I've seen the button on other keyboards at school/work but apparantly my keyboard doesn't have it. For the second one you provided I don't understand what was wrong with that.

But that's not what you asked. You wrote, "So can you please worry about your own articles and let me worry about mine." It's not your article. Any editor can edit it or tag it if they wish. Other editors will decide (with your input) if the tagging or editing is valid. The second diff has you writing, "I am working hard to block the individual who blocked me." That's not what becoming an admin is for. The community decides you can become an admin after years of contributions and thousands of edits if they feel you can be trusted with the extra power and not use it in petty squabbles. --NeilN talk to me 00:57, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As for signing, please look at point #2 in WP:TILDE. --NeilN talk to me 01:00, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

NeilM-Thanks I understand now, so can you please accept my unblock request

Only an administrator can unblock you. Neil is a very experienced and kind editor, but he's not an administrator.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:18, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I can't as I'm not an admin (and I have 50,000+ edits over 8 years which shows you how discerning the community is when appointing admins). My advice to you is to reword your unblock request above to indicate you have read WP:OWN and WP:BATTLEGROUND and understand them and are willing to work collaboratively. That is, listen to what other editors are saying about Wikipedia policies and guidelines and engage them in conversation without going into "attack mode". We are all here to improve the encyclopedia - if someone has a different point of view as to how to do that, don't assume they are attacking you personally. --NeilN talk to me 01:26, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not the one who will review your unblock request. However, I would be opposed to unblocking you even if you did what Neil said. Some things are hidden from Neil because he's not an administrator. You created an article called Jim Rosenblum Racing. The only thing in the article was a redirect to oral sex. It was deleted based per WP:CSD#3 (vandalism) by another administrator. You turned right around and recreated it with a redirect to NASCAR. That was deleted by yet another administrator as an implausible redirect. And you have the chutzpah to ask what was wrong with that article? In the short space of time you were allowed to edit, you did a whirlwind of damage, made outrageous comments and threats, and were deceitful. About 15 articles you created were deleted. In several instances you recreated the article that had been deleted. My suggestion is you take six months away from Wikipedia. If after that time you still want to contribute, make sure you read up on the important policies that govern this project and own up to all of the things you did wrong before promising you'll be good. At the moment, your statements that "you understand" are not even close to credible.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:56, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE READ THIS[edit]

Wikipedia Administrators, Editors, and Users,

I joined Wikipedia within the last week, and 2 days after I was blocked. I get bullied a lot at school, so I usually pay back, meaning if someone is mean to me, i'll be mean back. I didn't really know a lot about Wikipedia, so I thought that if someone deleted my page, I would just contact Jimmy and they would get banned. That's how dumb I was. A lot of people thought i was WP:NOTHERE but that's not the case. However I do admit that I did redirect Jim Rosanblum Racing, a nascar team that I couldn't find any information about to oral sex. I no that was very wrong of me to do that, and I sincerely apologize from the bottom of my heart. I would like to thank Bbb23 for making the right call and blocking me, thus giving me some time to think about what I have done. I would also like to thank NeilN, an amazing editor who has helped me understand a lot of stuff about wikipedia and the minute I get unblocked, I will nominate him for admin. I wanted all NASCAR teams and drivers to have their own Wikipedia page, and in some cases that meaning a redirect to an article related. The oral sex article was uncalled for and I shouldn't have done that. I am here to help build an encyclopedia and helping expand this in my expertise of NASCAR and fire departments. I understand that all fire departments and all nascar drivers do not need their own wikipedia page, and that one-sentence articles are uncalled for. To administrators and editors advice, I have read numerous articles about wikipedia. I am also asking to be unblocked for I can change my username and start fresh. I am also going to listen to what other editors say to me and collaborate to make Wikipedia better. In closing, I would like to be unblocked and I will read every comment on my talk page. I will not take advantage of editing and will only edit if needed. Thanks

Request reason:

read note above

Decline reason:

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
  2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
     • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...);
     • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: );
     • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: );
     • do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
  3. Click edit at your talk page, and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
  4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
  5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include citations to reliable sources (which they should), place at the end of the prose you copied this template reflist-talk and then save.
  • Now, edit that content to propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you. Yunshui  11:13, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
