Minworth council moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Minworth council, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Links to draft articles[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to List of political parties in the United Kingdom. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 12:48, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article British Progressive Party has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Primary sources only show no claim of notability. Draft:British progressive party is no better and has been declined several times on grounds of notability. This is a small UK political party with no significant election results. I've been unable to find a single reliable secondary source about them, likely because none exist (at least not yet).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Bilorv (talk) 12:13, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Walmley into Sutton Walmley and Minworth. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 21:15, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Minworth council[edit]

Hello, Natean. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Minworth council".

Links to draft articles - again[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at BPP, you may be blocked from editing.
It was clearly explained, above, that you should not add links to draft articles, but you have continued doing so. Please stop - Arjayay (talk) 19:20, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:British progressive party requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Entirely primary-sourced fictional party created by the only editor working on the article, has no relevance or value to wikipedia.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Copying licensed material requires attribution[edit]

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Draft:Deji Olatunji you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 22:44, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of United Britain Party for deletion[edit]
