What kind of link do you see between these two articles? Doesn't the fact that one is slavic and the other is germanic suggest they are not connected? I don't know much about the topic, but they don't seem related to me, aside from both being distinct pagan traditions in Central European - TheMightyQuill 18:15, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Quill, first, you should know that I don't have any scientific source for my decision. But despite the fact that the mentioned traditions are germanic and slavic (and Hungarians are neither), there might be possibilities for cross-culture influences. Just take a look at Busójárás which is a tradition of the croatian minority of Mohács. And croatians have Zvončari. You should know that the Catholic Church was always eager to extinguish every trace of paganity in Central Europe so there knowledge is scarce about this issue today. But putting all that away I was trying not to use the title This Tradition in Other Culures but See Also for people might be looking for traditions where people dress in sheep's skin and use wooden masks with a horned face around in Central Europe. And who knows - a scientist might also read this and prove the related/unrelated state of these traditions. And either case would be intresting to be mentioned in the article. - NemethE 09:03, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
