November 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm 4TheWynne. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Chloë Grace Moretz, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 03:29, 1 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Scottish people, did not appear constructive and has been undone. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Finns. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Yintan  07:42, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, thanks for answer my question, i will try to improve this

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Aquiline nose, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have been warned and blocked for adding unsourced material and yet you continue to do so. I strongly suggest you stop. If you can't backup your additions with a reliable source, don't add them. Your edits on Western Europe[edit]

Hello. Please stop your unhelpful edits: the lists only includes languages spoken natively by more than five million people, which excludes Irish, and Swedish and Finnish are already listed separately. So please make sure you know what you're doing before making changes to pages here. Thank you. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 18:41, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Germanic peoples. Yintan  22:21, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish-Americans[edit]

@ Nerd1853 I rolled back your nine edits adding Galitian without giving youa reason, which is what I am doing here. (Reverting each edit, which would allow me to comment, was not practical.) My apologies-your edits were clearly in good faith. You need to give a reason for adding Galitian as a language used by Spanish-Americans which you don't do, such as a good reference. Just because Galician is spoken in Spain does not mean it is spoken by Spanish-Americans. Roger 8 Roger (talk) 07:09, 31 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

January 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Iryna Harpy. I noticed that you made a change to the articles European Australians, and Italians in the United Kingdom, but without providing reliable sources. They've been removed and archived in the page history for now. Please note that the verifiability policy mandates that unsourced material that has been challenged, such as by a "fact" tag, or by its removal, may not be added back without a reliable, published source being cited for the content, using an inline citation. The cited source must clearly support the material as presented in the article, and the burden is on the person wishing to keep in the disputed material. So if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so, following these requirements! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. April 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Death Note, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. —Farix (t | c) 17:38, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 8[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Slender Man, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Folktale, 1900s and 1600s. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom 2017 election voter message[edit]

Hello, Nerd1853. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
