A tag has been placed on Delta Farms, Louisiana requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Tinton5 (talk) 00:23, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject, because... I looked for Information on the web about Delta Farms and there is none. I grew up just south of this farming area and would like to put info about it on the web. I have a disability Meniere's disease and need time to come back and forth to edit it. You do not have a button where I can save my work and come back to it without publishing it so I need time to complete this article."

If this is case then you can request the page be userfied - by which I mean moved into your userspace - so you can work on the article without having to worry about it being deleted. Just ask an administrator and they should be able to effect a timely transfer of your material so you can work on it in peace until such time as you believe that it is ready for publishing. • Hi, I removed the speedy deletion tag for now, and cleaned up the text a bit. You really need to provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. At the moment it looks like original research, and a self-created page like Facebook is not an acceptable reference. See if you can find a proper source like a book or newspaper, or it might be listed for deletion again Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:26, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
