- FWIW, GeezGod has been checkuser blocked, and had posed as NeverTry4Me at ANI and AfD. Special:permalink/1073330151#Protest against deletion of Pallab Bhattacharyya article. - Well, no one can. Really. We mostly rely on behavioral evidence. And with GeezGod running around pretending to be you, I presume it's him pretending to be you until proven otherwise. What is of greater concern for you is the appearance of undeclared paid editing. Please read and heed WP:COI and WP:PAID. - @Deepfriedokra: Well if you see my most edits are in people who are dead long before, and how that can be an UPE? Till date, I have not edited anything in COIN. I edited pages of different topics and different fields. If I am reading well, my block is not regarding COIN issue. Indeed I have no COIN issue yet. When I will have any general COIN in future, I will declare that. But about "paid editing", that I never did and will not do ever. - @Deepfriedokra: - regarding this, I suspected that occurred from this page where anyone can see it publicly. I have the reason to defend myself as I am repeatedly trying to get unblocked through on-wiki and off-wiki. I came across searching and found that that should be the only reason as I can guess. Somehow I have some reason to suspect, perhaps the user Geezgod has a strong belief me as another person which his first sock Scobserv accused me in this deletion. I am also very much concerned about why so many socks are trying to act like me. But I am sure that you staff has access to my Wiki login history including IP & MAC by which you can confirm my PC. Reply to Draftify requests
You have above asked me to draftify Rajen Sharma and Arunodoy Asom. Since I have nominated these articles for deletion, it is no longer appropriate for me to unilaterally move these to draft space. The nomination process will play out until it closes. That said, I did consider moving them to draft before nominating them but did not then and would not now for the same reason: Adding ""proper source and citations" will not solve the problem. I did my own searches for these persons using the multiple variations of each one's name and only found more of the same type of poor-quality sources that caused me to nominate these articles in the first place. The coverage of these persons in reliable sources is limited to passing mentions. We have the notability criteria and the Core Content Policies not to weed out bad articles but because if we can't satisfy those policies and criteria when writing about a person we can't be certain that we are creating an accurate article. I hope this helps explain my nominations and my view on these two articles in general. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 18:46, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Eggishorn: Are you sure that the Afd discussion of Rajen Sharma and Arunodoy Asom endorsed this Wiki rule of notability? I am sure the AfD is not addressing that. I just said that I tried myself to find other sources that were not in the article before nomination and you ask if that very thing was being considered. Either you don't read or you don't understand what is being said to you or asked of you in almost every interaction I've seen between you and another editor. The same appears to be the case here. - @Eggishorn: Please don't judge someone's ability on the grounds that you are not happy with it. How about we be in point on Rajen Sharma AfD? He passed away in 1989, and around then there was no internet, no websites, even numerous Indian books didn't have an ISBN. Rajen Sharma page doesn't fall in WP:BLP. An article you recently created, Pallab Bhattacharyya, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, there appears to be a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
