I understand why you find a short version of the 2010s in fashion article to be preferable to the current alternative of a list of bullet points. Wikipedia Articles aim to have "quality" rather than "quantity"; I agree with you. A long list of bullet points clearly is on the "quantity" side of that cliched opposition between "quality" and "quantity".
If a page is geared towards prose and organization ("quality"), and yet most of the edits are not, then the inevitable result will be that the article will become a cluttered mess which is impossible to read. This is exactly what has happened to "2010s in fashion". Because most of the edits made to the article merely added one new fashion item to an ever grower list, there was no organization or legibility because those types of edits were not compatible with the already-existing article model.
The idea behind the "bulletization" re-work was to create an article which would be more friendly towards these "one more fashion item" edits, in the hope that the bullet style would create an article that was easier to read and better organized. It seems to have worked in the few days it has been in place.
Your attempts to replace these bullets with a few lines, in the hopes that it will have "quality", is admirable, but misguided. Such a short piece cannot be maintained and will fall apart - again. Also, it may be added that the content of the 'few lines', ironically, are actually of the same "quantity" style as the bullets and are just as un-encyclopedic. It just happens that there are less listings here than in the bullets. At this early time, it would be difficult to write an article that truly summarized the fashions of the 2010s, because there simply are not any reliable sources about current fashion yet.
These views have been expressed on the discussion page, where they have met some limited agreement.
