Indiscreet Arbitrators

While I was slightly encouraged by your statement here [1], I was far from reassured. The Arbitrator in question, Beeblebrox, has spent the last few days excusing and justifying his right to discuss current Arbitration cases on Wikipediocracy. Therefore, I’m less than convinced that the Arbitration Committee being “aware” of the feelings of so many is going to make any difference to his behaviour. One can’t help wondering what confidential information Arbs will be revealing next, and where they will choose to reveal it. This is not an acceptable state of affairs. It’s clear that firm concise rules need to be in place or the integrity of the Arbcom will be even more compromised that it already is. Giano (talk) 14:47, 3 April 2021 (UTC)

April 21, 7pm: ONLINE WikiWednesday Salon NYC with Environmental focus
Welcome to Wikimedia New York City!

You are invited to join the Wikimedia NYC community for our monthly "WikiWednesday" evening salon (7-8pm) and knowledge-sharing workshop. To join the meeting from your computer or smartphone, just visit this link. More information about how to connect is available on the meetup page.

We look forward to seeing local Wikimedians, but would also like to invite folks from the greater New York metropolitan area (and beyond!) who might not typically be able to join us in person!

As this WikiWednesday is just the day before Earth Day, we will have an environmental focus.

If there's a project you'd like to share or a question you'd like answered, just let us know by adding it to the agenda or the talk page.

7:00pm - 8:00 pm online via Zoom (optional breakout rooms from 8:00-8:30)

(You can subscribe/unsubscribe from future notifications for NYC-area events by adding or removing your name from this list.)

Precious anniversary

Precious
Nine years!

Thanking you for still standing strong, for editors talking to each other before requesting arbitration to solve their problems. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:06, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
