You ask:

  • Were the macedonians greeks or not?
The ancient Macedonians were Greeks, or at least had acquired Greek culture by historical times. But that is not relevant to this argument. Today there are Greek Macedonians and Slav Macedonians. The Greek Macedonians live in the Macedonian region of Greece, and the Slav Macedonians live in the Republic of Macedonia.
  • Isn't this a trick of Tito and Stalin who decided to give this name to the souther region of Yugoslavia?
Possibly, but that isn't the point either. The Slav Macedonians choose to call their country Macedonia, and whether Greeks like it or not is irrelevant.
  • Have you ever been in Thessaloniki?
