Orphaned fair use image (Image:Nanook of the north cropped.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Nanook of the north cropped.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Durin 21:01, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mormon pioners and the Ship Brooklyn[edit]

I saw your comments on mormon pioneers and I think it would be great to have mention of the Ship Brooklyn. Please contribute! uriah923(talk) 15:45, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reference in Mormon pioneers[edit]

According to Wikipedia:Citing sources: "It can be helpful when footnotes are used that a separate "References" section also be maintained, in which the sources that were used are listed in alphabetical order. With articles that have lots of footnotes, it can become hard to see after a while exactly which sources have been used, particularly when the footnotes also contain explanatory text. A References section, which contains only citations, helps readers to see at a glance the quality of the references used." BRMo 17:02, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the primary author of the section of the Vanguard Company was User:WBardwin. Checking his contributions, it looks like he's been on break from Wikipedia for the last three months. I have a couple of the important reference books for this article and could provide some citations, but I anticipate that it will be two or three weeks until I can turn my attention to it. WPBYU Invite[edit]

Hello, I noticed you've made edits to Brigham Young University articles and thought you might want to become a member of the BYU WikiProject. We've recently revamped the project page and started a drive to improve BYU-related articles. We have a lot of articles under our project and would like assistance getting them to featured article status. Hope you'll join us. Go BYU!

Thought you might be interested since BYUH is under the project and our collaboration this month is BYUH's article. Best --Eustress (talk) 19:02, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
