Speedy deletion nomination of Nottingham International Jazz Piano Competition[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (Nijpc) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

Proposed deletion of Nottingham International Jazz Piano Competition[edit]

The article Nottingham International Jazz Piano Competition has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Questionable notability, not enough sources. The links you will find on Google are sites that briefly mention the winner. Most of those are about Jeremy Siskind, who doesn't have an article in WP. I found no mention of the competition after 2014. I'm not putting down Nottingham, but I doubt this is a popular or pretigious jazz piano competition "internationally". Of local interest, perhaps.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
