Prof Garcia's Comments[edit]

Week 2[edit]

Pretty mediocre work for this week, Nicolette. Your answers to the questions on the content gap were meager. You need to do a better job with all assignments for this and other classes. Your evaluation of the Dolphins page, moreover, was not very good. You have to think through your analysis better than that. Alfgarciamora (talk) 20:51, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Week 4[edit]

@Nikkiroe7879: An excellent job this week, Nicolette! You will do great work if you focus on those pages that you have identified. Although grammatical mistakes are good, remember to focus more on adding a substantial amount of content to your pages. You will have to skim and scan a lot of stuff in order to find good info, so do not get discouraged. Make sure you work smart, not hard. Alfgarciamora (talk) 19:21, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Week 5[edit]

@Nikkiroe7879: GREAT job for this week, Nicolette! As you go through your readings, you will find that they will have a ton of citations that you can check out as well. Search the bibliographies of your sources and that will help you tremendously. Keep up the great job! Alfgarciamora (talk) 13:01, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nikki, I thought the edits on your article were fantastic. I think the grammatical changes made it easier to understand the information from previous editors. However, I do think you should add some information of your own. I realize this historical figure has plenty of information already written on him, but maybe focus on a less developed area of his character. For example, Lafayette is a very well known historical figure, but his Wikipedia page does not have much information on his views of slavery, a very important topic at the time. I added some information on that topic. This is just an example of course, but maybe go further in-depth about his view on the Church and its role in society. Just an idea. Other than that, very well done. You deserve a cupcake. See you in class!Jorte106 (talk) 02:58, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Jorte106: Thanks for the great feedback! I have prepared some information to add at your request and will add it in as soon as I feel it is ready to be read. I will also work on your advice to add to the lesser developed areas of his history, like his relations with people outside the the National Assembly and such. Please feel free to continue eaving comments here on how I may edit my article in the future! See you in class. Nikkiroe7879 (talk) 15:46, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Week 8[edit]

You have done an amazing job with this whole project, Nikkiroe7879. I am so proud of the work you have done and the information that you have been able to add. I am happy to report that this draft is one of the most excellent in the class. All you have to do now is to finish up your additions with any extra sentences, quotations, and (of course) citations that you might have in your notes. Give your page a good run-through to make sure that it all flows as well. Overall, however, I think you've done an exceptional job. Thank you for taking the time to do such a great job.
