Proposed deletion of Game Developers Session[edit]

The article Game Developers Session has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Annual conference with no indication of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Copyright violation removed[edit]

Given that we take copyright violations quite seriously (for legal reasons, we must do that), a simple assertion like this is not enough. You need to have it cleared at WP:OTRS, which I believe is pointless given that the material will be removed as promotional anyway. The information about licencing of the text is present at the webpage which was referenced in the paragraphs. So next time, before deleting anything, please do some more research or ask at the talk page.
