General Hospital Year Pages

Hi There. I think since it is pretty obvious that the 2015 page will stay, I wanted to know which other pages have you started for years? We also need to transition 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s into separate years. I would keep the children as it is. I'll help you in anyway I can. Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 03:24, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

I've always believed the child article should also be merged into the main character list articles because it just makes more sense. At some point, these child characters DO grow up and they are no longer children. Having them in a separate page just never made sense to me. It actually makes things a bit more complicated. For example, TJ Ashford who started as a teenager is now a college aged student and no longer a child BUT he's still included in the childhood page. Moving him would probably start a debate that isn't need. Having the kids appear in the same article as any other character just seems more logical to me. However, I think we can save that debate for a later date until we get the other year by year pages situated. As for the character lists from 2010 to 2014, I've already started work on those. Anything before that will take a lot more research and probably longer to build up. And I appreciate your interests in helping.--Nk3play2 my buzz 14:15, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
I think T.J. should be taken off that list myself too. Molly will be going to college this fall. I would leave the children page until all the other pages are created and move them to those respective pages. I will start with the 2000s. That should be a little easier to research plus we have the list of characters page to help. Yes, it will be hard to do the 1960s to 1980s. The 1990s should be easier than 1963-1989. Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 15:50, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
YES and no. The kids born within those decades can be put in those respective article lists unless they have their own stand alone article, like Molly.--Nk3play2 my buzz 20:24, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
Is there a reason why there was not a character list made for the 1960s at all? Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 15:53, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
Honestly, there isn't a lot of information that people can access directly about characters from the early years. I'm sure there are ways to get that information, but I know a lot of them aren't free. I very rarely come across information about characters from the 1960s UNLESS they stuck with the show throughout it's history.--Nk3play2 my buzz 20:27, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
There were a lot of major characters from the 1960s that stayed with the show until the 1970s and death or retirement or had a significate impact like Dr. Steve Hardy, Jessie Brewer, R.N., Audrey Hardy, Lee Baldwin, Angie Costello-Weeks, Dr. John Prentice, Meg Baldwin, Al Weeks, Tom Baldwin, Dr. Phil Brewer, Howie Dawson, Dr. Tracy Adams, Perter Taylor, Jane Harland, Diana Taylor and Lucille March Weeks.
I didn't realize it until now, but there actually is a list with those characters you just mentioned. HERE --> List of General Hospital characters (1960s).--Nk3play2 my buzz 05:40, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
I think maybe the merger question can go? I don't think it will be merged. -- Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 05:35, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

Archiving

Have you thought about having this page archived? I could set it up if you like. Over 200 entries is a lot. -- Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 05:44, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

Fixed April 7, 2015. The bot will come by and and archive them now. --Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 05:55, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

Empire new page set up

Nk3play2, I also apologize for my rude comments. I did feel that your comments were disrespectful, but that did not mean that I should have responded with anger and unhelpful sarcasm. I was wrong as well. I'm willing to work on the page if we can find a middle ground. I saw your page set up for the content box. The current set up is predominantly modeled after Flyer22's Todd Manning article, which is a soap opera article. I saw your sandbox, and it looks good. If you still want Characterization to be on the page, I don't think it's a bad idea if merged with personality as you have it in your sandbox. However, I feel that "Characterization and personality" would probably be better than "Characterization or personality". If you want to put them under "Creation and development" I can compromise with that, as with Creation and development merged the other sections would technically fall under them. General Hospital awards

Hi there. I see that your page finally got archived. I'm working on making a new page for the awards section. The awards section is so big and looks bad. This is what I have so far on my sandbox. Tell me what you think. -- Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 16:45, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
For your work (so far) on Laura Spencer — and generally all of your contributions to soap articles. You're doing a really great job, and I thought you deserved this barnstar :) — Arre 14:03, 30 May 2015 (UTC)

Shawn Brady is NOT Bo's "stepfather!"

Shawn Brady is not the step-father of Bo Brady. He is his legal father! For Shawn to be Bo's stepfather, he would have had to marry Caroline after Bo was born, which he didn't. This should be easy to understand. It's 100% the exact same thing as Neil Winters not being Lily Winters' step-father. He, too, is her legal father. Shawn and Neil both hold legal rights to their children and have throughout their children's entire lives. As far as the law is concerned, those people are their kids fathers. Frankie and Max Brady are full-siblings of the other Brady family children (via adoption) because their legal mother and legal father are the same as the rest of them. Bo is as much a full-sibling to Roman, Kayla, and Kimberly Brady as Frankie and Max are. I hope that helps to clear up your confusion.Cebr1979 (talk) 23:50, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
