HAPPY HELP

Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:53, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Use Spaces
Spaces usually come after punctuation marks.
Instead of this:
  • I like bunnies(rabbits). They are not only cute, but friendly too.
Try this:
  • I like bunnies (rabbits). They are not only cute, but friendly too.

Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:03, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Protect Your Article
1. Putting lots and lots of references into your article protects it from being deleted.
2. Put references in your article like this example:
Rabbits are cute.<ref>http://www.about-rabbits.com</ref>
3. Add this to the bottom of the article:
==References==
{{reflist}}
4. Don't use Baidu.baike, Hudong, Tianya and sites that are not professionally written.
5. Write in your own words. Just the facts. Don't copy and paste.
6. Make your article style like other articles.

Wu Zhen[edit]

I have moved 吴镇 to User:Nnu-10-24100133/sandbox. This is the English Wikipedia. We do not have article titles with Chinese characters. Please incorporate your text into the existing Wu Zhen article and improve the references in that article. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:08, 24 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Talkback[edit]

Hello, Nnu-10-24100133. You have new messages at Talk:Monk painters.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

-- WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:34, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
It is not clear what this article (僧侣画家/Monk painters) is about. I have changed the title to Monk painters, but you might be able to suggest a better title. Yunshui (talk) 12:39, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As you may have seen your article 弘一法师 has been proposed for deletion. There are a couple of problems with it:

  • I think it is the same as the Hong Yi article; is that true?
  • We never use chinese characters as titles. Please make it only with an English title
  • The text is much like an essay: you give your own opinion: you say "it is a regret" etc
  • you need references. If an unreferenced not-finished article is placed in wikipedia, it runs more risk of being deleted.

Anyway, I don't want to discourage you and wish you much succes on wikipedia. Next time, check carefully if the article already exists and use an English title. If you want to check ideas for articles, just ask on my talk page! L.tak (talk) 18:07, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Home thoughts , from abroad[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Home thoughts , from abroad, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will be removed shortly (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Sparthorse (talk) 08:17, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Home thoughts , from abroad has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is a poorly written essay about a poem which is already covered in its own article. No sources, not verifiable, purely personal opinion, likely copyright violation

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Copyright problems with Home thoughts , from abroad[edit]

Hello. Concerning your contribution, Home thoughts , from abroad, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.sparknotes.com/poetry/browning/section5.rhtml. As a copyright violation, Home thoughts , from abroad appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Home thoughts , from abroad has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) then you should do one of the following:

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While contributions are appreciated, Wikipedia must require all contributors to understand and comply with its copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you. 85.211.13.188 (talk) 09:07, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm sorry but this article has a lot of problems:
  • The title - no space needed before a comma, and it seems the original title has a hyphen
  • The first paragraph - we do not want to know what you think, this is an encyclopedia and not a homework assignment.
  • The rest of the text - you seem to have copied this entirely from the SparkNotes website. This is copyright theft, and unacceptable in Wikipedia. You need to get information from reliable sources, rewrite it in your own words in good English, and give the source of your references.
There is a lot to learn about writing good wikipedia articles, and I hope you will learn enough to contribute usefully to the Encyclopedia. Please go slowly, read the various help files and tutorials, and stick to the rules. Thanks. 85.211.13.188 (talk) 09:07, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Never never say goodbey requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.  Abhishek  Talk 17:21, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:砚池染翰.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:砚池染翰.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Gaijin42 (talk) 14:27, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Zhao JI[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Zhao JI. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Emperor Huizong of Song. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Emperor Huizong of Song - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. TheMadBaron (talk) 02:06, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nnu-10-24100133! I'm working on the article. Please do remember I only read the teeniest bit of Chinese :-) --Shirt58 (talk) 16:10, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Leng Bingfeng has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. noq (talk) 14:04, 10 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Leng Bingchuan, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Leng Bingfeng. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 14:07, 10 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

About Zhang Xiaoxian again[edit]

Hello Nnu-10-24100133, and again thank you for all your contributions. I've reverted your latest contribution to the Zhang Xiaoxian article, because you removed article maintenance templates. They are there for good reasons: the article really does need a lot of work. One of the problems with the article is that its tone is more like a "hagiography" (Look that word up! English is so bizarre some times!) than an encyclopedia article. --Shirt58 (talk) 11:38, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Journal of Macrolinguistics requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.macrolinguistics.com/index.php?c=msg&id=428&. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — IVORK Discuss 06:11, 11 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
