October 2012[edit]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Tadcaster. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. I have left instructions on how to cite sources earlier on this page. I recommend you cite sources. A number of articles about York have been the target of a sockpuppeting vandal operating under a number of aliases, and one hallmark of his was a stubborn refusal to cite sources for false information. Ian i was not aware about that but i did recently visit the town of York and whilist i was traveling on one of the buses i was given a changes sheet about it and used this page to find the correct service so i have updated the site, also i looked at history and it seems that edit wars go on when you revert it back but if it was same information than it was right and i am not from York i am from Cornwall but the information about 4/5 is correct well the one i put on so don't revert it as it is right but this page changes all the time NormanGH (talk) 22:40, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Had you cited this page, instead of making others do your work, you might not have come under suspicion for being a sockpuppet of Josh24B. Ian.thomson (talk) 23:04, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Yorkshire Coastliner. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Josh24B. Thank you.
