Userfied pages[edit]

Overcast (Transformers) redirect RFD[edit]

I'm writing this to both NotARealWord and Rossami. You two were the primary participants in the above RFD a while back. It sat lingering open, but I have finally closed it, as "Retarget to Overcast (disambiguation)". I am not knowledgeable enough on the subject to implement the second half of the consensus your two reached, namely to update Overcast (disambiguation) with the different characters. Hello, I closed the AfD for the article per WP:SK because your nomination didn't actually ask for deletion, and AfD is only for nominating an article for deletion. However that should not mean that the article can't be turned into a redirect. My suggestion is to talk things over with a couple of other people who are active with Transformers articles, like Mathewignash, Khajidha, JIP, Grapple X, Mabuska, Fortdj33, etc. All of those editors have worked with Transformers articles and have participated at WP:TRANSFORMERS, are currently active on Wikipedia, and may be responsive to a discussion. If nothing else, you can try simply leaving a message on the talk page of the article, saying that you propose to turn it into a redirect, wait for a day, and if nobody objects then just go ahead and do it. If someone reverts your change, no problem, just engage that person in discussion. If anyone is overly hostile to your suggestions or actions, let me know and I'll try to see that you're treated fairly. I just wanted to make sure that my closure of the AfD wasn't perceived as an attempt to shut down your attempt to turn the article into a redirect, it really wasn't. -- Atama頭 00:50, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
