Semi-automated template substitution[edit]

Lily Mazahery page[edit]

Hi Noteon, I noticed on the Lily Mazahery discussion page that you thought of improving the page & adding useful references, but decided not to because of the long discussion on the talk page / the semiprotection of the article. I'm a new wikipedian so probably shouldn't be dispensing advice--but what you want to do looks reasonable to me, and the references look useful, so I'd say go for it. (See wikipedia's "be bold" policy). I've been editing a couple of wikipedia pages about Iranian prisoners of conscience lately--one thing that's surprising to me is that even a lot of very notable Iranian political prisoners don't have wikipedia pages yet, or don't have much info on their wikipedia pages. Since you said on the discussion page that you've been following Lily Mazahery's twitter posts I thought you might possibly be interested in helping to improve/ create such wikipedia pages.
