Three revert rule[edit]

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. -- AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:28, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 20:12, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also...[edit]

Please do not remove warnings from your talk page or replace them with offensive content. Removing or maliciously altering warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. If you continue to remove or vandalize warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. Please don't forget...[edit]

...to assume good faith! In reference to your claims that Hugh Miller wasn't an EastEnders writer. Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 20:41, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

Just a quick reminder - the second "E" of "EastEnders" is always capitalised, and the word "EastEnders" should be in italics whenever written. Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 18:31, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
