Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Taninaz12". The reason given for Taninaz12's block is: "Vandalism".

Accept reason: Granting IPBE Daniel Case (talk) 03:55, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This IP Address belongs to the New South Wales Department of Education and Training, and is used by 25,000+ students, I feel that blocking all computers within the network is an over-reaction to a single vandal. This is only related to this case, and I will concede that there have been many events of vandalism from students attending NSW schools, please advise on future mechanisms to overcome this issue. IP block exempt[edit]

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Daniel Case (talk) 03:55, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request for advice on stub article[edit]

Hi, I see you did some editing work on the Adobe Photoshop article. I am doing an academic assignment improving a Wikipedia article and my group chose Adobe Streamline(discontinued Adobe product). I was wondering if you could go to its talk page and make some suggestions on how to improve it since we are all new to Wikipedia. JawS001313 (talk) 01:36, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, NotinREALITY. A few points regarding your message here. In general, we do not block IP addresses indefinitely. I think you may be mistaken about the IP being an open proxy, but you may consider filing a report at Wikipedia:WikiProject on open proxies to get the opinion of folks that know aboout the subject. Warnings are very effective in most cases and when they are not we have other remedies to apply; in my experience, contacting IP address registrants have never produced any response, much less helpful action. While I'm here, your user talk font/background contrast makes the page difficult to read; please consider making a change. Tiderolls 07:55, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, you're right, it is hard to read. I have been using a web font called 'open sans' in my custom css, and it appeared fine until i removed it :) thanks for telling me, as I have now made it a bit better NotinREALITY 00:39, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
