101 Russell[edit]

I'm afraid that's not how it works. There was a talk page consensus in the discussion at Talk:Total House that it wasn't notable, and you unilaterally broke it out without any sources to justify the notability of 101 Russell.

If you unmerge it again without sources to justify the notability of the actual thing known as 101 Russell/Billboard, I'll nominate it for deletion and succeed, given that it has basically no sources that aren't actually about Total House (and now in that article). I'd suggest, if you want an article on this, you take the time to write a well-sourced article that is actually about the subject. The Drover's Wife (talk) 23:10, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well you best go ahead and make good on your threats, as another editor has reinstated, so wouldn't be declaring victory quite yet. Nouraudes (talk) 02:06, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you keep re-adding content that has nothing to do with 101 Russell/Billboard in the hope that editors won't notice, I will remove it. I suggest you come up with some sources about the actual nightclub. The Drover's Wife (talk) 02:30, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You and I both know, the only way the article is going to disappear is if there is a consensus at the AfD, so you can stop with the threats, it isn't going to work. The only thing you have got right is that it has nothing to do with 101 Russell/Billboard, because we are discussing 170 Russell/Total House. Nouraudes (talk) 02:39, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm more than happy to take the matter to talk, but you have not (on any of your three sockpuppets) provided any argument whatsoever (let alone sourcing) for your claim that the nightclub had anything to do with the live theatre and the cabaret restaurant that rented the physical space before they did. It seems pretty clearly a disingenuous attempt to try to claim notability in the hope that no one checking for the purposes of the AfD actually reads the text or the sources too closely.

If you're willing to provide any actual sources to support the notability of the nightclub, or any sources whatsoever that would support the link you want to claim to the historical venues, I'm all ears. If you want to try to strongarm Wikipedia just long enough to outlast the AfD, you won't succeed. The Drover's Wife (talk) 03:06, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am guessing you think Runningmarvelman, myself and somebody else are the same person? Big call, perhaps you should file a Sock Puppet Investigation as then you will be rid of me. But then if I'm not, might be a bit embarrassing. Nouraudes (talk) 03:16, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Three new accounts that popped up in the same week solely to promote the same nightclub is not a coincidence that anyone on this site is going to buy. Nonetheless, I'm very happy to change my position on the notability of the nightclub if you want to provide any evidence of notability whatsoever, as opposed to trying to misleadingly spin a relationship with completely unrelated historical venues of a completely different nature. The Drover's Wife (talk) 03:25, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
My account popped up in April 2020, Runningmarvelman's a week ago. Another disproved conspiracy theory. Nouraudes (talk) 03:30, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And made all of six edits before becoming fanatically devoted to promoting a nightclub after an account active in between times disclosed paid editing. You may think Wikipedians are chumps, but this is not even the teeniest bit subtle and bad PR people have tried it on us many, many times. There's still the possibility of coming up with actual sources to support the notability of the article if you get sick of trying to revert-war in misleading spin. The Drover's Wife (talk) 03:42, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not directly involved with this conversation, but I've found Nouraudes around and decided to join in on it. The Drover's Wife does have a point in that, those two accounts did start randomly promoting the nightclub for no reason, and it is a bit suspicious. Nouraudes, it's true: There has already been a discussion with consensus on the Total House talk page about the notability of the article, and why it shouldn't exist. You should not have created this article. However, it doesn't matter because there is clear consensus at AfD. Clearfrienda 💬 13:04, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey guys, yeah definitely not the same people, I've been using Wikipedia for years, had an account about 10 years ago (don't remember what is was) and found things that I'm interested in and noticed they needed some updating.
