Article Evaluation Exercise WikiProject Germany/Cities[edit]

WikiProject Germany/Cities

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hattingen

The article is very straightforward and factual. All of the information is relevant but there is no flare or personal touch to the article. What's missing is local insight, modern insight. Another thing that could be improved is the photo gallery.

The links and citations are legitimate and the external hyperlinks have a network but the information about the town itself could be localized. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nurreea (talkcontribs) 18:30, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Feedback from Sarah Southerington[edit]

I don't see a lead section for your article. You should probably add that in. It should be a summary of the article in general before you go into specifics and should touch on all or most of the topics covered in the article.

I think your headings are wrong. The titles that you have for the sections look to be subheadings instead of regular headings. Overall your article seems neutral and all the information seems relevant to the topic. The pictures are very good. you could try to find one that outlines the region on a map.

I noticed that none of your paragraphs have citations. You have hyperlinks for the other wikipedia articles but you need to back up most of the information you add with citations.

I can't tell what you have added and what was from the original article but it seems like there are a lot of sections that cover the topic well.

Feedback[edit]

Youre article is written very well and you have alot of information that someone could use if they were doing research about this. It doesnt have a proper Lead Title right in the beginning telling us what the article is about though so that could be confusing to some readers. The pictures are very good, and if you added some throughout the article as well that would be beneficial as well. Alaina.parrish (talk) 01:32, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
