[1] Sorry, please see Wikipedia:Image use policy#Copyright and licensing - we can't just take a CBS owned image and use it, we need freely licensed images. --GRuban (talk) 20:52, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I work for CBS News. Frank Lance, from CBS Communications forwarded that picture and asked us to replace it on Margaret's page. Our CMS has no way of noting licenses. Are there any other options? What would you recommend as a process for this? Thomcraver (talk) 21:11, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That is GREAT! But we do need proof of release as I imagine you can understand. The fastest way is likely to make a web page on a CBS News website that has that picture and a text notice:"CBS owns the rights to this image and releases it under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" Or you can make a Twitter tweet with the same info from an official CBS news account. Or an official Facebook post. Whatever the easiest or latest official publically visible electronic communication hotness is.
The slower way is to send the same information in an email to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org from an official CBS news email address. Details on that are at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Email_templates ... But it can take MONTHS to get a response, which is why putting the info on a publically visible web page would be much faster.
When you do put up some official notice you can get my attention by posting a link to it on my talk page, User talk:GRuban and I'll try to help cross any ts and dot any is. I have some experience uploading images here. --GRuban (talk) 05:53, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
More on Wikipedia:Files_for_discussion/2018_April_30#File:Margaret_Brennan_Face_the_Nation_set.jpg --GRuban (talk) 14:13, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:MargaretBrennanheadshot2.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Len tepper moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Len tepper, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~~Cheers~~Mgbo120 20:48, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Len tepper, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:21, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Len tepper[edit]

Hello, Nynewsguy. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Len tepper".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Bkissin (talk) 14:27, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As reviewing administrator, I decided to accept your article. The importantparts of the article are sourced. What still needs sourcing is some of the biographical details. Please get ot it as soo as possible. In particular, IMdB is not acceptable as a biographical source. There should be sufficient acceptable ones. Ideally, use a separate Reliable source for every individual prize. DGG ( talk ) 00:15, 2 April 2021 (UTC) DGG ( talk ) 00:11, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I interviewed him myself. Is there a way to cite that? If not, I will try to find a suitable reference. Nynewsguy (talk) 00:38, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
