List of earthquakes by magnitude[edit]

Hi OLEF641, I reverted your edit to List of earthquakes#Largest earthquakes by magnitude because there are some issues with the USGS list. I've started a discussion on the article talk page. Also, when you made your changes, five links to specific earthquake articles were removed and other renamed, so that they became broken. It's best to make full use of the preview function while editing so that your edits don't have unintended consequences. Cheers, Mikenorton (talk) 21:55, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dancing With the Stars Season 14 Call Out Order[edit]

Hey, thanks for correcting my Call-Out Order mistake! It hadn't crossed my mind that I should have colored based on totals from week 1 and 2 (because I based mine on week 2 only). Nice catch! Oh and by the way, you do know that people are probably going to be raising hell for putting the call out order back on there, right? So that might be going away soon. I don't have a problem with it, but there are two editors in particular who do. Tyler george6 (talk) 04:10, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback to Help:Citation Style 1[edit]

"how to have some text at a reference instead of the url"

I'm not sure what you mean by this. If you can give some details on what you are trying to do, I will watch this page for a few days. ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 09:15, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps OLEF641 wishes to have an external link displayed as a title rather than a blue url. To have an external link display like this – Google – the syntax is like this: [http://www.google.com Google]. In other words, you put the full url, a space, and the title you wish to display all within square brackets. Adrian J. Hunter(talkcontribs) 12:22, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This is what I wanted -- Thanks OLEF641 (talk) 08:24, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 2[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rose Bowl Game, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ABC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Infobox Photo Discussion[edit]

Hi. Can you offer your opinion in this discussion regarding the better photo for an article Infobox? Thanks, and Happy Holidays. Nightscream (talk) 00:16, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
