Dimension X[edit]

Can we at least split the TMNT Character lists into Natives of Dimension X? JosephWC (talk) 04:44, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As a way to categorize characters on that list, sure. Except that remember that Dimension X is not universal to all versions of the franchise and some characters are from Dimension X in some versions and not in others, like Slash (DX in Archie comics and 1987 cartoon (sorta), and games based on that series, but from Earth in IDW comics and 2012 cartoon.) oknazevad (talk) 05:05, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Fair point, if i need to, I'll make sure to list the inhabitants. Thanks for the head's up JosephWC (talk) 05:08, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Always precious[edit]

Ten years ago, you were found precious. That's what you are, always. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:07, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Oknazevad,

Don't just move a Talk page without an article or it will be deleted as an orphaned talk page. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:06, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

My bad. Meant to move the article too. I'll fix that now. oknazevad (talk) 13:48, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Linking PPV dates in AEW Championship Articles[edit]

The title is probably not specific enough, so I'll try and elaborate. Basically, you reverted when I linked the ppvs to the dates where MJF and Toni won their respective titles. That doesn't make sense to me. I haven't had any complaints when I did this for the WWE titles. Why is it a different story for AEW? 1ArcticDude (talk) 23:53, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This was discussed some time back on the pro wrestling wikiproject, and the consensus there is it doesn't mesh with the guideline at WP:EASTEREGG because the target of the link is fully hidden. The event itself is linked later in the article if one wants to go to that article, so it doesn't need to be linked there, especially considering the easter egg nature of the formatting. oknazevad (talk) 00:25, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Raphael[edit]

Does Raph not have any notable powers from Rise of the TMNT? If you look on Leonardo's page, you'll see Teleportation and Portal Creation under his abilities. Christianfollower (talk) 22:10, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That suit if armor force field projection.
That said, Rise is just one version, and one that didn't last long. Those powers do nit belong in the infobox, which is supposed to summarize the broadest details of the characters across all versions. oknazevad (talk) 23:32, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

US metro areas with 4 sports[edit]

Why did you revert all the accurate edits I made? Banan14kab (talk) 23:10, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well, frankly, I didn't think they were improvements. The title of the article is metro areas. The links should be to metro are articles. They changes looked lousy and made a mess of the chart. Also, remember to log in before making edits, because editing logged out before accidental sock puppetry, which is to be avoided. oknazevad (talk) 23:28, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Literally had the list linked to the cities with the cities listed but if that’s lousy ok then. And since it does focus on metro areas I will make edits to reflect this. Banan14kab (talk) 04:30, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

CS1 error on Bigfoot (truck)[edit]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Bigfoot (truck), may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 21:09, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Multi-franchise video games in navboxes[edit]

Further to our edits at {{Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video games}}, the multi-franchise video games are covered at {{Nicktoons video games}}, so they are not really needed on the specific franchise navboxes. If you have a look at the bottom of Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway for example, you'll see how the WP:NAVBOXCREEP makes navigating between these articles by this method practically impossible. --woodensuperman 16:41, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's a game franchise where the TMNT are regular full time playable characters. I'd say it belongs, regardless of how many other franchises are involved. oknazevad (talk) 17:35, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of accessibility features[edit]

Please do not remove accessibility features, as you did on the MLS article. Please see MOS:TABLECAPTION, MOS:COLHEAD, etc. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 15:50, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

These edits are not automatically more accessible because you said so. WP:BRD is a thing. You've been reverted for all these edits. Keep reverting without discussion and you will wind up at WP:ANI. oknazevad (talk) 16:36, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
They absolutely were: how is it more accessible to contradict the MOS on tables??? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 16:37, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Discuss on the talk page of the articles. Not here. oknazevad (talk) 16:38, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You claimed that they were more accessible for not having captions. What in the world are you talking about? Did you read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility/Data tables tutorial? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 16:39, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I claimed nothing other than major changes to page layout should be discussed first. Don't put words in my mouth, and don't post on my talk page about this again. I told you where this discussion belongs, and it is not here. Continuing to post messages about this here will result in an ANI report for harassment. oknazevad (talk) 16:43, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you remove Trix from famous studios?[edit]

Why? Wizzleworker (talk) 23:01, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Because it is completely unsourced, and you added it because you believe them to have been made by that studio based on your own assumptions about sound effects. Read WP:V and WP:OR. Those are core policies. Your addition outright fails both of them. Do not add it back again without a real source. oknazevad (talk) 02:55, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Butternut squash[edit]

From what I've seen, it appears that Australia and New Zealand always call this one a pumpkin. TooManyFingers (talk) 18:09, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently in Australia all winter squash are called pumpkins regardless of shape. If we were to follow that usage, the chart would have to contain every winter squash variety, which means basically the entire list of gourds and squashes article. Almost as though the entire idea of having a chart in the pumpkin article is a redundant effort that is poorly thought out and WP:OR in its inclusion criteria, like o originally said. oknazevad (talk) 20:19, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent reverts[edit]

How many links do you believe is appropriate to be included in see also sections? 11 is absolutely over the top and I think it's quite silly that you're reverting me across multiple articles and using the article that "other articles do it", which is never an appropriate argument to make. Hey man im josh (talk) 14:56, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Interlinking of articles is the whole point of see also sections. They're going to consist of many links. Could the section use subheaders for grouping, sure. But having each of the five major leagues' venue lists link to each other is appropriate and aids navigation for readers, which is why those links have been there for many years and why they've been restored multiple times now. Going and removing all of them from all the other articles once someone mentioned that they exist is WP:POINTy, to be frank. And it's nit just me that's restored the links, so clearly there isn't consensus for removal. Being the one to propose a change of a long-standing element of the article, it's on you to get consensus. I don't see how outright removal helps readers. oknazevad (talk) 15:05, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You're essentially encouraging the inclusion of things that would fit in a category based on the fact they fit in a category, which would be a better solution than a large list under see also. So I ask again, how many links do you think is appropriate to include under see also? Hey man im josh (talk) 15:19, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, I'm not the only one that removed those items either, which is why I reached out to you to ask for a better explanation than "because others do it". Hey man im josh (talk) 15:20, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps a category would be a better solution. oknazevad (talk) 15:33, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
After thinking about it, a navbox could also be useful. Hey man im josh (talk) 17:47, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That would work too. oknazevad (talk) 21:05, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Oknazevad:, @Hey man im josh: Linking articles IS the whole point of the See Also section. That's why this page is on my watchlist. If you think 11 is over the top, look at this one with 19: List of Catholic bishops in the United States. I edit this one a lot but leave the See Also section alone. Roberto221 (talk) 22:12, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Roberto221: I understand it's the point, but there's a limit to what is reasonable. See also sections should not be their own lists, they should be the most related items, not just any related items.
@Oknazevad: I realize I came off more aggressive and rude than I intended to, so I'm sorry for that. Hey man im josh (talk) 22:17, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A note[edit]

Sorry for the various pings and/or mentions you may have received but I am trying to request indefinite EC protection of your userpage due to vandals and possible outing. Thanks. – 64andtim (talk) 23:32, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just the period harassment I get from one LTA troll whose socks I exposed years ago. Useless waste of oxygen of a person, to be frank. Tag everything for speedy, if you would be so kind. Db-vandalism is the template. oknazevad (talk) 23:34, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hey oknazevad. I'm attempting to provide some help here and OS is looking at one of the issues you brought up (I'm sure you know which). I just wanted to caution you, on the Doxxing issue: Contact WP:OS directly next time. By linking to that page on the other talk, you essentially self-doxxed. I cleaned it up and I believe OS will be doing more shortly. -- ferret (talk) 03:11, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Tis all suppressed now. -- ferret (talk) 03:15, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Didn't know about WP:OS. I'll keep it in mind the next time this comes up. Because it will. oknazevad (talk) 08:15, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Impact/TNA Champions[edit]

A little explanation as to my moves. I tried to move the article the usual way, by it couldn't move because the redirect had that name, so I moved the info to TNA, and since that then made Impact redundant, I asked for the deletion. If that caused a ruckus I apologize...wasn't my intent. Vjmlhds (talk) 23:39, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

When there's such a redirect the thing to do is request a technical move. If there's an objection (though I don't think there would be if the request states straightforwardly that the reason for the rename is that the company has gone back to its old name), then it'll get bumped to a move discussion on the talk page. You're going to have to withdraw the AFD nomination first, though, just to make sure everything is all clear and no one accidentally deletes the article we want to keep. oknazevad (talk) 23:59, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

need to delete this, i saw your comment in the Tetris talk page and they make sense

TNA edits[edit]

Just so you know, I saw your previous messages and i looked at the article and i initially decided to remove that section which i removed because i thought it was unnecessary, but I looked article again and reflected upon seeing the article, you are right, the section is necessary in the article, although there are things that i removed because its already it is already mentioned in other sections like The Asylum stuff in the history section so why keep the same information in one section when it is already mentioned in other sections, no need to keep the same information in two sections covering the same topic.

Before you say that i am not being collaborative just to know that i reverted one of my edits mentioning these changes and i already gave the reason twice before i decided to inform you just to not have any issues, so sorry for the issues and inconveniences next time I will do better and inform you you more my bad, sorry from the bottom of my heart, sorry.
