Evidence

OldRoy started editing WP on 01:22, 29 October 2006. Nielswik was blocked for 3RR on 08:49, 27 October 2006 [1], and again on 09:33, 31 October 2006 (UTC) [2][reply]

I was blocked at 31 oct, at that time my IP must have been autoblocked. but OldRoy could make his edit at that time [3][4] [5][6][7] --Nielswik_(talk) 03:40, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OldRoy's first edit on WP was this: [8] - quite an odd first edit
OldRoy edited the same Indonesian-related articles as Nielswik (who is Indonesian) - Abu Bakar Bashir, 2002 Bali bombing, then suddenly began editing 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict - the same article in which Nielswik had been edit warring in for several days (and which led to his second 3RR violation and block), right after Nielswik was blocked, making the exact same reverts as Nielswik
Another editor noticed this, and pointed out suspected puppet activity:[9]

OldRoy appeared on my Talkpage to complain about me reverting a change by Neilswik [10], and when I addressed him as Neilswik, Neilswik appeared within 15 minutes to deny that it was him. [11]

Neilswik wikistalked me to Arab citizens of Israel - [13], and hours later, OldRoy appeared, makign edits to the same article. (without ever editing an Israeli Arab related article before) [14]

Don't have to explain to Isarig how I got to article, he didn't start it nor does he own it. I made copy edits to improve English. With apologies to NielsWik, the improvements were outside his English proficiency.

On the Talk page for Abu Bakar Bashir, OldRoy and Neilswik were making the same arguments, and reffering approvingly to one another.

Comments

Isarig made a remark in violation of WP:CV and WP:AG and I placed a warning on his talk page. The substance of the remark was that I was a sockpuppet of Nielswiki.Tewfik mimimked Isarig's remark and I placed the same warning on his user page "to please both be civil and to assume good faith." I have edited a limited amount of articles. I have an interest in indonesia, malalaysia, and the middle east. I started with the Bashir article because I have a friend that was interested in some of those issues. Please excuse me if I come across as bragging. And I admire Nielswiki for being able to speak Malay and Indo and yet write in English too, and he can communicate well, but still, there can be no mistaking my level of English proficiency and his, can there? Surely my level of English is on a different level? Sorry Niel, No offense meant. Secondly, How can anyone confuse a United States I.P. and a Southeast Asian I.P. On the Arab_citizens_of_Israel the substance of my edit which apparantely provoked Isarig to incivility and assumption of bad faith WP:CIV WP:AG was that I copy-editied "maker and seller of breads" to "baker" or some such innocent non-political edit. On Abu Bakar Bashir, i added more materials from Indonesian article about Bashir(because I understand Indonesian lang), but with bad english (I am not English native speaker so I made a lot of mistake in english) [16], and another guy User:Merbabu and OldRoy was the one who copyedited it. You can confirm it with merbabu that my english is terrible

You are a good man Niel for keeping you kool under extreme provocation from Isarig. You should be awarded some Wiki Medal or such for perserving your calm under these charged and threatening acts of incivility and displays of bad faith. I agree that there are a few suspicious circumstances (I agree oldroy has, um, and unusual style, although not many contribs are there for a consistent style so far) - but I think it is fairly obvious on the language factor alone that these are two seperate editors. As for the accusations about working as one on the ABB pages, it is not the first time that two people have shared similar views - lol. Although, I must say, that for someone who has only been on wikipedia for a few days, and only on a few specific articles, Oldroy is remarkably precocious in his editing skill and apparent familiarity with how wikipedia works on this page and this edit summary from his contribs: "rv per disc, not WP:RS, be civ, AGF or be reported". Have you ever been on wikipedia before roy? Maybe there is nothing to it, and I don't mean to make an accusation, just comment as I see things. --Merbabu 14:01, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about being so good at Wikipedia functions, MBabu, (aping the masters, look-see imitate explanation , has Old Roy done any rocket science stuff yet?) or as NielWiki I am being so bad in Ingrish (sorry Niel, isn't that the word for English in Malay?) on purpose, but it's awfully hard to be at two places at the same time, eh. Conclusions

I am sure that OldRoy is a sockpuppet, but on further review of the evidence, I now thinnk it is more likely that the puppetmaster is Will314159.
