Welcome![edit]

Just a quick message to welcome you to Wikipedia. I see you're off to a great start. Thank you for your contributions on the Olympics and Paralympics so far! (By the way, you may be interested in Wikipedia:WikiProject Olympics.) Aridd (talk) 21:30, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot for that link! It's a real gold mine (no pun intended), even if data may need to be double-checked. Aridd (talk) 21:40, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think I know why some medals are "missing" from the IPC record. Their website says that it's missing individual credits for some team/relay medals for Games between 1960 and 1984 included. Anything after 1984 should be accurate, though. Aridd (talk) 07:37, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I noticed you'd done a lot of work at the above article and thought i'd let you know about the style guidelines that WP:OLY have set out for this type of page. They can curently be found here. If you have any questions feel free to ask me on my talk page. Cheers Basement12 (T.C) 14:22, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
