A tag has been placed on MovieCodec, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Discussion was already held to delete this topic: see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MovieCodec Forums. —C.Fred (talk) 00:13, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The reason for deletion is that the three sources you mention are the same three sources you had in June, and they only discuss MovieCodec in passing. Accordingly, it was deleted because the article was substantially unchanged from the version deleted after AfD discussion. —C.Fred (talk) 00:18, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

-I made it from scratch. What else do I need, I have 3 sources of notability, therefore there is a Wikipedia article that is to come lawfully under such regulations, what is that article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Omegakingboo (talkcontribs)

You yourself even admitted the website isn't notable. The full, final AfD discussion is here. —C.Fred (talk) 00:25, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

-But the thread and the specific Forum the thread contrives to is. I just put Moviecodec since that is the full site, and is quite notable as it does get a lot of traffic, though there are no articles about that of course, though there is an Alexa page. Would an article about the specific forum the notable evidence derives it's origin to be appropriate?Omegakingboo (talk) 00:31, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No. The website, the forum, none of the containers about the thread are notable. —C.Fred (talk) 01:14, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

-Alright, I'll make one for the thread itself. Which is completely fair, and I would like to verify that it will not be speedy deleted if it meets all the guidelines. I'll make sure it meets Wikipedia standards, I'm not trying to spam the site or promote anything for the record.Omegakingboo (talk) 01:18, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'd have to see the article to say for sure that it won't be speedy deleted, but I wouldn't delete it under G4 (and probably not under A7). I or another user may still nominate it for AfD, or another administrator may speedy delete it—I can't warrant what other admins will/won't do. —C.Fred (talk) 01:53, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

-Alright, I'll make it but how do I send it to you personally.Omegakingboo (talk) 02:06, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just make it in userspace here, e.g., User:Omegakingboo/(article name). When it's done, leave me a message with the link. —C.Fred (talk) 03:20, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
