JOBEEHIVE[edit]

JobeeHive is a web 2.0 community platform for professionals, which brings career information (reviews, ratings, salaries, layoffs) on companies and industries alongwith professional networking.


Vision of JobeeHive is to provide 360 degree information about employers and thus help prospective employees and clients make informed decisions.


“Where do you wanna go next?” is the tricky question that JobeeHive answers.


People can anonymously review their past/current employer and get to read the similar kind of reviews about other companies from their employees. This way,the community shares its actual experience and helps creating a place which serves as a transparent and guiding platform for all its contributors to help them decide their prospective employers.

Apart from basic concerns like hiring process, work culture, senior management etc, it also provides salary information that helps professionals understand salaries, benefits and pay hikes in different companies across job grades and locations.

A tag has been placed on Jobeehive, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. Replying to your note[edit]

Hi. Although I usually reply to messages on my talk page, I'm replying here so that my response will remain easily viewable a little longer. My talkpage archives regularly, and it will be easier for you than having to track it down when my answer moves. :)

Looking at the history of your article, I see that it has twice been deleted as advertising.

Honestly, you have an uphill battle if you want to write an article on this subject. As you are involved with it, you are working with a "conflict of interest" in Wikipedia's terms. All editors are required to be neutral in editing and to verify information with reliable, unconnected sources. They are not permitted to add information they believe or even know to be true, unless it is verifiable. Wikipedians are particularly wary of violations of these policies in editors who are connected with subjects they are writing about. Given that you are in that position, you will want to be particularly careful to stay within those policies. Please see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest for specifics about what constitutes a conflict and how to contribute to subjects with which you are affiliated.

Beyond making sure that you are neutral and are using good sources, you also need to be sure that your company meets the notability guidelines for inclusion on Wikipedia, which can be found at WP:ORG. Looking at the last deleted version of your article, I see that you did include note of external coverage. I am not familiar with some of these sources, and I do not know if they establish notability. The epaper profile looks good to me. "Featured on Times Ascent" seems like an overstatement, since it was mentioned in one small element of another story. You'll want to be careful not to seem to overstate coverage or accomplishments, since that can lend to the appearance of "advertising."

Ideally, at this point you would ask somebody else to create the article if it proves notable, through "requested articles" or at a related Wikipedia:Wikiproject. Unfortunately, it can be hard to find takers. Alternatively, you may wish to develop the article in a sandbox in your userspace and seek feedback on it in another forum, such as the Wikipedia:Drawing board. I'd be happy to "userfy" it for you for that purpose. (The article would be moved to a subpage in your userspace for development and could be moved back into article space if other reviewers feel it complies with policies & guidelines.) If it were my article, I would put as many reliable sources in as I can find (this one is brief, but lends to a reading of notability: [1]) and make sure that there is nothing in the text that can be read as non-neutral. Then I would ask for feedback at the drawing board or the conflict of interest noticeboard, specifically indicating that I wanted to know if it was ready for article space and, if not, how it might be improved.
