No Israel flag on userpage

I believe the use of File:No Israel.svg on a userpage violates item 9 of theWhat not to have on your userpage policy, and so I brought it up here where the people who posted agreed with me. This is just a notice to let you know that unless someone reverses the decision you won't be able to display that flag on your userpage anymore. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 18:26, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Mistaken edit

Hi. Please note that this edit was a replacement, rather than an addition. Thanks.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 16:21, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

No_Israel.svg

Per Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive200#Bad Image list request and Wikipedia_talk:User page#Use of No Israel.svg on userpages, it seems to be a pretty clear consensus that the file No_Israel.svg is viewed as inappropriately divisive per WP:UP#NOT #9. You have has readded it to your user page despite the consensus. Note that while the image has been removed from the blacklist, the removing admin agreed with that assessment. As such, the image is removed. You may seek an RfC to restore the image if you'd like a wider audience, but any restoration of this image to your user page absent a new consensus that such is allowable would be a disruptive edit. Just to clear up, I dont think OsamaK ever removed it from his page, nor did he re-add it. It just appears that way because it went on the blacklist and then off again. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 23:22, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
