I have seen that you edited some volleyball articles. Some players articles, most of them looks outdated. I would like to improve players by country. Could you please choose a country to contribute with? Please take a look on Yekaterina Gamova, Hélia Souza, Serena Ortolani and Kenia Carcaces for a model to follow. Days ago I went to Google Books to find the link to the Austerlitz book, but I made no effort to verify anything, because I took it for granted that the IP was citing Austerlitz and the other sources correctly. But now I see that it's all a copyright violation, and that those 'other sources' are actually cited by Austerlitz.

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion, guidelines for use at WP:MINOR). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and all users will still be able to manually mark their edits as being minor in the usual way.

For well-established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

On another issue, I just wanted to tell you that I don't think that a user who writes "I dont wanted" and "incorrects articles" should cite his level of English as professional. These remark of mine is not personal, I just point it out because I think other users can be missleaded by that. But I see now you removed everything from your user page. Well, all articles to be nominated have to be GA. At the moment, the highest it can get before being nominated is a B-class. So here is what I am going to next: I have the article requested to be copy-editor by a professional editor and once that's done, I will have the article peer reviewed, address any problems and then submit to GAN. Repeat process for FAC. As for broad cover, JLG isn't a well-known artist compared to the others in English and the album is quite old, so information is scarce. Your expansion looks fantastic! Wow! Seriously impressed. :) With out looking through all your sources, the article looks really well sources, well organised, has a nice use of tables, and the info box looks rather complete. I'd take the information in the lead that is cited, make sure those facts appear in the body and are cited. I'd then nominate it for DYK and seriously consider nominating it to Good Article. Had a look too and the expansion is great, easily enough for a DYK. For the hook, I'd suggest something army related rather than anything to do with the drug test controversy as although it's probably more hooky, it could be seen as a negative hook about a living person which DYK frowns upon. I'd also second the suggestion to go for a GA - it's all there. But the good thing about a GA is that you don't have to do it immediately upon creation, so you can nominate it at a time that suits you. Miyagawa (talk) 12:09, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

I think the lead is a bit short, is there any more information from the body of the article that can also be summarized in the article? I see a lot of work has been put in, it's nicely done. Dominican Today

Hi there :) I caught your comment about Beyoncé at Talk:Dámaso Marté. You wouldn't be the first, and won't be the last, to note that this silly attitude to hispanic names isn't applied to North Americans with accents. Such nonsense is "Par for the course" unfortunately. Anyway, I thought I'd show you this Beyonce to perform in the Dominican Chavón arena which just goes to show that web "newspapers" are edited worse than print newspapers. Actually, despite my above comment, the number of hispanic names mispelled on en.wp is infinitesimally small. I really do not know how to handle this. I mean, this is not, and please correct me if I am wrong, USA Wikipedia! There are some common use US backed stand about how to handle marks on names, but most of them are wrong. I do not know what happened with Dominican Today, their english is really poor by the way! Hi. What can I say, you see my view. Unfortunately WP:WORLDVIEW is only an essay not a guideline on en.wp, though I observe that the vast majority of editors follow it in spirit. The issue here is not American-British-Australianness, or even the green card issue, but simply failure of a very very small number of editors to grasp WP:IRS "sources reliable for the statement being made" - i.e. an html "source" like Dominican Today fails on Beyoncé and fails even on Dominicans, even ESPN is more reliable. As I said hispanic names are overwhelmingly spelled correctly 100,000s of them, exceptions like above are tiny, 4 out of 100,000. When I see them I usually put in a WP:RM. The only problem with Spanish is partly the lack of participation by competent Spanish speakers in en.wp. If someone inadvertently misspells a Polish or Czech name an editor from those WikiProjects will immediately contribute and improve WP:BLP accuracy, but WikiProject Spain/Mexico/etc are pretty well dead. I proposed a Spanish equivalent to WP:FRMOS some time back Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Spain & Spanish-related articles, but there was no one interested enough to participate, it is a draft.
