New Jersey Devils[edit]
You asked at Talk:List of urban legends about the New Jersey Devils name. That is not the place for such questions. In the future post such at Wikipedia:Reference desk. That said, the answer to your question is yes the New Jersey Devils were named after the Jersey Devil.
