Hello Paintspot. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "List of Teen Titans Go! (2013) episodes".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

Disambiguation link notification for March 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Say No to This, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James Reynolds (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Sarah Lacina has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Working on it![edit]

Sorry about that. Us Survivor people will work on that! ('Cuz, ya know, it's somewhat tradition to have a page of the winner of a given season of Survivor after they win.) Paintspot Infez (talk) 16:21, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It may be a tradition as you say but all pages have to meet WP:GNG and as article creator you have a responsibility to ensure that the article meets these guidelines. Also just because WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS doesn't make a subject inherently notable. Please do not start sections with TBA in them. I don't know what you mean by US Survivor people but if you mean editors linked to the program this is strongly discouraged as conflict of interest editing. Wikipedia is a community of editors and anyone can add content. If you start an article that is a WP:STUB you can tag it in the appropriate category. Numbers[edit]

I think the standardization of number articles is good; however, 600 through 900 are in a "bastard" format. If you don't reformat them as you did 300 through 500, I believe they would be better the way they were. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 15:35, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to having mixed "*" and "----" formatting, the {{vanchor}}s are broken. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 15:40, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yikes, sorry. I'll fix the "----" part, and I'll try to format 600-900 the same way that 300-500 are. Paintspot Infez (talk) 16:00, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Chemistry disambiguation pages[edit]

What is the purpose and intended scope of Category:Chemistry disambiguation pages? It currently looks like disambiguation pages with the name of a chemical element, but usually only one entry is about chemistry. Other subcategories of Category:Science disambiguation pages tend to have all entries in the field. Has the category been discussed? Are you planning to also add other items like Water (disambiguation) and so on where the primary topic or one of the entries is from chemistry? PrimeHunter (talk) 01:17, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Mostly, the category was just created with disambiguation pages for the names of chemical elements in mind. Hmmm, maybe "Chemistry disambiguation pages" wasn't the best name for the category. Since it would be pretty helpful to have a category of all disambiguation pages for elements, maybe "Chemical element disambiguation pages" would be better as a title. Paintspot Infez (talk) 14:01, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Category:Chemical element disambiguation pages seems a much better name for the intended scope. PrimeHunter (talk) 01:32, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, in the process of fixing the disambiguation pages to have this category. Paintspot Infez (talk) 02:27, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
These categories are being considered for deletion at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2018_July_1#Chemistry_dab_pages. DexDor (talk) 20:23, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Your actions at Talk:Lewinsky scandal[edit]

Please do not "close" a discussion in which you are a participant, per WP:INVOLVED, which states that "editors should not act as administrators in disputed cases in which they have been involved". Furthermore, please do not copy signed comments from other editors from an old discussion into a new discussion so as to create the appearance that those editors had separately participated in the new discussion. bd2412 T 13:21, 12 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Aaah sorry about that; won't do it again... Paintspot Infez (talk) 13:59, 12 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation page links[edit]

Hello, Paintspot. In this edit you changed a very large number of links that point to disambiguation pages, from the form Symphony No. X (disambiguation) to Symphony No. X. This is contrary to WP:D#HOWTODAB. Please revert these links to the correct form. Thank you. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 20:57, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Got it, fixing back. Sorry about that, some of the Symphony No. disambiguation pages didn't have existing "XXX (disambiguation)" redirects. I'll make those and then fix the links, I guess. Paintspot Infez (talk) 23:01, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and fixed them. bd2412 T 14:13, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Mass-moves and RM/TR[edit]

I honestly tended to agree with your assessment of the RM at Talk:List of postal codes of Canada: A, but I have a pair of detractors, who have piles of admin friends who don't seem to know what WP:INVOLVED means. These two have made a years-long habit of trying to pillory me for moves they don't like, no matter how much the WP:P&G agree with me. Despite the fact that nothing should result from their antics, it's lead to two ANI cases, and multiple other disputes, and the only move-ban I've ever had, and the only block I've ever had – all over a single category of moves that, when done the slow RM way, actually went exactly as I suggested they should (see WP:BREEDDAB for the list).

Ergo, any time a mass-move is involved and I have even the faintest idea that some wikiproject might have a pack of WP:OWN / WP:VESTED types in the wings, I use full RM, even if the renames seem obvious. This is a concern recently triggered for me about that project in particular, due to nonsensical proposals at WT:MOSCANADA for special geographical naming conventions for "exclusively Canadian topics" – I can't make this stuff up. The fact that the lead "article" (a pile of colorful decoration) at List of postal codes of Canada was recently sent to WP:AFD then to WP:DRV, and now back to WP:AFD, was an additional reason to exercise caution here. Twice bitten, thrice shy.

Page mover granted[edit]

Hello, Paintspot. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect, and move subpages when moving the parent page(s).

Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.

If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! TonyBallioni (talk) 13:21, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
