Aespa (Awards and nominations)

Hi Paper9oll. The edit I made on aespa wasn't a mistake. I'll keep in mind about practicing editing on Sandbox. I hope you can revert it back. Thank you! StanYu (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 02:12, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

@StanYU: Hi there, your edit was reverted because you first added extra rows which was I deemed it as test edit. However, Billboard Korea is not an actual award ceremony either is it an award to being with hence please do not add it inside the table, it should only include notable award ceremony. The Billboard Korea is an listing instead hence please include it under Critical reception table in Black Mamba (song) instead. Paper9oll (📣📝) 02:28, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
@Paper9oll: Oh, is that so? I didn't know because I was basing it on Itzy's List of awards and nominations received by Itzy. I added Billboard Korea because I saw Dong-A.com's Pick in the Award ceremony column. I thought it would also be the same with Billboard Korea, but I guess not. StanYu (talk)
@StanYU: For Dong-A.com's Pick, the source provided stated it as award ceremony hence it can be inserted in the award and nominations list. However, now where in the Billboard Korea source stated it as such. And btw, if you read carefully, it is stating that Aespa is the rookie that performed the best in Billboard K-pop 100 of 2020 not rather saying they are awarded with best rookie. Hence, this is better suited as listing instead. Paper9oll (📣📝) 04:39, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

Aether theories

What is your physics background to revert my changes to Aether theories? Explain to me why it isn't ok to remove the dubious sections that I have removed from the article. 77.3.233.209 (talk) 12:06, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

@77.3.233.209 Hi there, you removed huge chunk of information that was cited hence your edits was reverted. Please use the article talk page, if you feel the information incorrect. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 12:26, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
I'm going to tell you the same I told the other user who reverted it. Honestly, you gotta have a look at who added this nonsense to the page in the first place. They've "established facts" here by adding it to the page with no one watching and removing them now you require to cite sources, but the problem is that they are so oddly specific false claims that you will not find a source addressing exactly these misconceptions, other than for the quantum vacuum claim (which is common enough that people have written articles about it https://www.physicsforums.com/insights/misconceptions-virtual-particles/ ). You would have to cite a 600 page textbook on GR, a 600 page book on QFT and a book on Bohmian mechanics / Pilot waves apparently and point out that no where in these books will you see the claims backed up or the connection to aether theories made. It is just unfounded. Do you understand the problem? Nowhere will you find statements saying directly that the claims made here are wrong (even though they clearly are to anyone who has studied this). You didn't answer the question regarding physics background so I assume you have no background and are just reverting because it's a large edit. The sections should be removed for now and the person who wants to readd them should cite sources. 77.3.233.209 (talk) 12:29, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
@77.3.233.209 The source is not considered reliable source as per WP:BLOGS. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 12:33, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
The original claims don't have a reliable source. And this nonsense has been in the article for a decade, 2012. Someone tried to delete it in 2013 and sure enough some guy who just counts characters thought removing many characters must be vandalism so reverted it. Physicists don't have time to engage in edit wars on wikipedia all day. Only crackpots have that time. You end up with an article contain false information for almost TEN YEARS. Just because you think it's better to have more characters in the article than having less. 77.3.233.209 (talk) 12:37, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
I am tracing back the particular false section about the quantum vacuum to the original creation of the article in 2008. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Aether_theories&oldid=202913269#Aether_and_quantum_mechanics ("It has been suggested that this seething mass of virtual particles may be the equivalent in modern physics of a particulate aether.") There are no sources for the claim, no textbook or paper will back this up. This is just a popscience misunderstanding of the topic. The burden of proof can't be on people disproving misunderstandings. A source like a textbook or paper cannot preemptively address every possible misconception someone might gain from it. What they can do is write articles like Arnold Neumeier did linked above which you do not consider reliable source. If you accept for the sake of argument that this section is indeed wrong, how is this section going to disappear from the article then? 77.3.233.209 (talk) 12:44, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
@77.3.233.209 You're being disrespectful here by calling me a crackpot which means this is end of our discussion. I'm not going to say if you can or cannot remove the section, you face the consequences if you intend to continue removing huge chunks of referenced content. I'm not going to revert it but leave it to other editors or administrators to handle it. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 13:01, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

List of Blackpink concert tours change

Hi Paper9oll, I've seen that you're pretty active in articles related to Blackpink and just wanted to reach out to ask for your help on a change I want to make to List of Blackpink concert tours. I created a list of Blackpink live performances in my sandbox that mirrors List of Taylor Swift live performances. Can you please go through my sandbox and see whether if that would be sufficient and accurate enough to change the article to "List of Blackpink live performances". I'd also appreciate it if you can help me on how to change the article name as well. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks. — Jihkilan (talk) 01:23, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

@Jihkilan: Hi there, the sandbox seem good and well sourced with reliable source. I don't see anything to needed changes to be made.
To rename the article, you would need to move it, you can do that by going to the More dropdown button on the top right corner (if you're on Vector skin, not sure about other skin), click Move, under new title textbox, type in List of Blackpink live performances. Reason just type something relevant and easy to understand to other editor, like Inspired by List of Taylor Swift live performances or Moving to more relevant naming because the list no longer contain just concert tours. Make sure you on List of Blackpink concert tours article to initiate the move process not on your sandbox, and copy-paste the correct content from your sandbox to the article first, publish it before starting the move process.
If there is anything, you're still unsure about. Do feel free to reply to this discussion. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 01:51, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

Hi,

I notice that you nominated this for deletion earlier today. Just to let you know that I nominated for speedy deletion instead as a clear violation that requires no discussion.
SSSB (talk) 15:12, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

@SSSB: No problem, I just find the "nominate for deletion" link on the left sidebar faster. And also because adding template for some reason is slower to get it deleted, not sure why. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 15:17, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

I have spent hours editing there is no indication given to exactly what is being objected to.

The best solution for me is "give up" rather than trying to improve your stub.

@1willim: Please go through every single links in the Welcome Guide I have included in your talk page. In addition, your edits included bunch of unnecessary external links which is not considered an improvement, please read WP:EL on external links guidelines. Improvements are welcome however they must be constructive and must follow the guidelines and policies. Request to revert vandalism on Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Trivandrum done by another editor

I would like to request you to revert the vandalism done by a user to the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarvodaya_Vidyalaya,_Trivandrum to the change done by the user Steven on 20:37, 2 October 2020 Thank You 117.230.56.234 (talk) 05:53, 4 April 2021 (UTC)

@117.230.56.234  Not done Steven (Editor) is not vandalising but being helpful by removing the duplicate parameter. As per this edit prior to Steven contributions, you can see this warning "Infobox school warning: Using more than one of the following parameters: language, medium_of_language" displayed in red above the lead section. What is warning/error actually means is language and medium_of_language parameters are interchangeable and at any one-time, only one parameter can be included/used. Hopefully my explanation helps you, if you have further queries, do feel free to reply to this thread. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 08:34, 4 April 2021 (UTC)

I think you misunderstood what I said. I was mentioning that the user Steven was the last person to make a useful edit and all the successive edits were vandalisms. I meant that the edits made by the user 'Me and my momma' and subsequent edits were vandalism. 117.230.56.234 (talk) 09:12, 4 April 2021 (UTC)

@117.230.56.234  Done Ah okay, I did misunderstand what you mean. I have reverted to last revision by Steven (Editor). Paper9oll (🔔📝) 09:16, 4 April 2021 (UTC)

@MEHRYAR B119:  Not done Please recheck, it is already stating as 34 episodes. What do you even meant by that? Dear Paper9oll. Thank you for your message explaining what I did wrong on my first attempt to edit the content for Gary L. Wilson. "Update" to wikitables

Hi. I've noticed your recent changes to wikitable formatting on Korean groups and singers' articles. What you're doing is not an "update", as you claimed here. This appears to be entirely based on personal preference. While some of these edits have introduced things in line with MOS:ACCESS, like a table caption, largely you appear to have exchanged one formatting for another. For example, there is no reason to or improvement in changing widths defined with "[x]em" to percentages—in fact, this appears to be widening fields like "Year" that are only ever going to be four characters wide and certainly does not need to be "5%" wide. There's also little benefit to adding nowrap to the type of template it is (it's not really an issue if text wraps in a wikitable), or defining a width for the entire table if the table does not have that many horizontal parameters. Please stop changing "[x]em" to percent and claims of updating tables when you're exchanging accepted formatting of discography tables for changes based in personal preference and not any kind of practicality. Thank you. Ss112 03:01, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Please stop the unnecessary changes to Wendy (singer). You are making fields artificially wide and this is of no benefit to readers in any version of Wikipedia. Also, I'm not sure how "nowrap" is needed for the mobile version of Wikipedia. Ss112 03:07, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Yes and no for personal preferences, I just find them to squeezed. I will take note on that.
Please stop the unnecessary changes to Wendy (singer). You are making fields artificially wide and this is of no benefit to readers in any version of Wikipedia. Also, I'm not sure how "nowrap" is needed for the mobile version of Wikipedia
I didn't make any further changes after your comment, it is you that didn't check the history. "nowrap" is needed for mobile site not for the app btw, this two are managed and designed differently have different functionality, if you using the app then it doesn't have any problem with that, if you removed it then everything will become squeezed up. It may display correctly and expected result on desktop but not on mobile. In addition, in regards to the caption, I'm just standardizing it not from article to article (basically not sitewide, but within WP:KO scope) and standardizing it with the caption on awards and nominations section, I just find it untasteful that there is different captioning style. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 03:17, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
Sorry, but this is sounding like "I don't like it on mobile so I'm changing everything to fit how I want to see it". That sounds like changes based in personal preference and not functionality. While Wikipedia should go a certain way to encompass formatting for mobile users, not everything is for mobile users. Mobiles will naturally squash text that displays more comfortably on desktop because of the limited size of the screen. We can't change the size of a mobile screen. I've used mobiles to read Wikipedia (in a browser and and on the app) and they've mostly been formatted fine for me to read. As these changes haven't been widely implemented elsewhere, I assume therefore it's mostly fine for others on mobile too and there's no need to change "[x]em" to percentages or any of the other changes you've made in that regard.
I'm not sure of this imperative to "standardise" captions within Korean-related articles, but the tables should be introduced as a "list of..." and not just immediately jump into saying "Name of single". Also, "selected chart positions" and "sales figures" should be plural as the table lists more than one. This is how wikitables are captioned on discography articles—not just for Western artists either, even on Korean artists' discographies when they have a separate discography article. Ss112 03:25, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
@Ss112: Okay, seem like you misread/misunderstood my comment. I actually referring to the nowrap CSS class instead of em/px/%/rem sizing. Furthermore, my caption is not exactly wrong or stepback. This is mine Name of the single, year released, selected chart position, sales figure, and name of the album and is pretty much modify of Name of the award ceremony, year presented, category, nominee of the award, and the result of the nomination found in awards and nominations table. I don't see it being a problem when it is for consistency within the article, while of course there is wikiproject for that but frankly speaking there is wikiproject for the filmography section as well and majority of Korean-related articles doesn't follow that guidelines/examples/boilerplate either. And in addition, I would appreciate you don't keep smacking my username inside the edit summary, respect other editors and don't shame them when it isn't even vandalism or edit warring. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 03:34, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
I tagged you in an edit summary because it was immediately after I left you a talk page message, and I was alerting you to the fact I had just left a message about the same topic. I realise you probably had not seen it in time, but still, you did not need to go back to Wendy's article to change things that didn't need to be changed in the first place. You're stretching fields out for mobile users—have you considered perhaps mobile users do not want to scroll horizontally to see most of the important text in a table? Therefore I think you should stop the changes to tables in this regard because it's based on your preference for not having "squashed" text whereas other readers may not want to scroll across.
As for making captions "consistent" between those pertaining to an artist's discography and the awards they've received, that's not necessary and again sounds like personal preference. Captions are optimised for what content is in the table; they don't have to have matching introductions. Captions should also describe what the table is for. Therefore if you're immediately naming the parameters inside of the table, like "Name of...", it's not telling screen readers what that table even is in the first place—you've just jumped into naming the columns in it. Therefore it should start off as "List of singles" and I would suggest the awards and nominations tables should also start off this way (e.g. "list of awards..."). Just because they've been written "Name of..." for however long doesn't mean they should be that way or are best that way. Ss112 04:21, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
@Ss112: Thanks for the explanation regarding the edit summary and noted for discography section, I won't make changes to the CSS styling unless unnecessary such as word-wrapping on either column (often 1st column, like new song have longer name than existing entry and there is plenty of space (plenty of space means outside the table) to the right or left if you're using that reverse layout). In regards to mobile site, my views and your views doesn't match up and I don't think this discussion would be going anywhere but will continue to go in circle, I won't make further changes for the time being and likely open up discussion somewhere (not sure at the moment, still finding). For awards and nominations, that is also standardized caption hence for the same reason as discography section, leave it as it is. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 04:34, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
I wasn't saying I was going to change captions for awards and nominations tables, just suggesting they should probably start off a certain way. If the best way to introduce those tables has been discussed on a WikiProject talk page, then I would definitely defer to that consensus, even if I do disagree. Ss112 04:37, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
@Ss112: Noted, I actually meant to say that. Sorry for the confusion. Anyway ... thanks for taking your time for lengthy debate. And happy editing! Paper9oll (🔔📝) 04:42, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

You were harassing me some time ago, mindlessly reverting everything I added, even though it was proven to be accurate. I see you are at it again. Please stop. If you are wikistalking me, please unfollow the pages, and please refrain from making idiotic threats. It's not necessary. I was improving articles. You are making them worse. Skb7 (talk) 09:35, 17 April 2021 (UTC)

@Skb7: No one is harassing you, it is just you being paranoid. Maybe you haven't heard of this feature called watchlist or watch this page checkbox located at below the edit summary. Furthermore, your edit is clealy not constructive when you keep stating "How You Like That" is awarded "First artist to reach number one on a Billboard Global chart as a soloist and as part of a group" when the source provided clearly doesn't state it was. In addition, you keep preaching "accuracy" when your edit opposite of the provided source. In short, your edit is failed verification. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 09:42, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
I don't know if you are playing dumb or you really are. Blackpink has only had 1 number 1 hit on the Global 200, which is How You Like That. It should be listed in the record. Your removal of factual information is the disruptive bit, and you really, seriously, need to stop it. It's harassment and it doesn't help to build an encyclopaedia. You're nothing more than a stalker. So leave it alone. Skb7 (talk) 16:18, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
@Skb7: Seem like you are clearly not reading the source or simply not unaware of the situation. The table is for world record, "How You Like That" is not awarded with that record hence it shouldn't be added into the table. It doesn't matter if they are Number 1 or Number 1 Hit on Global 200, GWR didn't awarded the song with such record hence it's incorrect to state it as such. Unless, you can provide reliable source that explictly stated "How You Like That" is awarded with "First artist to reach number one on a Billboard Global chart as a soloist and as part of a group" else your edits is simply disruptive editing and unsourced. Formatting of wikitables

You claimed you would stop messing with the formatting of wikitables just last week here. Yet five minutes after I edit Wendy (singer), there you are adding Template:Smaller, which should really be avoided. Please stick to what you said you would do and stop making unnecessary edits to wikitables and column formatting. You even admitted this was to suit your view on mobile. Therefore it's personal preference and does not need to be made. I see you've also been doing this to the other Red Velvet members' pages and I don't even know how many other pages since last week. Stop unnecessarily fiddling with things that don't need to be changed. I'm sure there is something else more constructive you can find to do on the entirety of Wikipedia. Thank you. Ss112 07:21, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

@Ss112: Dude i was referring to table-width, column btw, and not everything. Furthermore, please explain why not to use Template??? Why is the WP:MOS guidelines and policies to avoid template usage. Please provide one that explictly stated so.
Btw, in case you're unaware Template:Smaller is 90% font-size and Template:Small is 85% font-size. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 07:24, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
It doesn't matter what size what is. You said you would stop messing with wikitable formatting altogether, at least that's how I took it, yet you haven't. And stop marking edits like this as minor. See Help:Minor edit for what consitutes a minor edit. That definitely is not minor. My point is you do not need to be making edits like these to wikitables at all unless they're very small, like set at a font size below 85%, and those cases are becoming rarer. Ss112 07:25, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
@Ss112: Please be rationale here, as per MOS:SMALL, quote "Reduced or enlarged font sizes should be used sparingly, and are usually done with automated page elements such as headings, table headers, and standardized templates." hence my usage of template is perfectly inline with the guidelines. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 07:27, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
@Ss112: Please also provide the guidelines or policies on where it explictly stated on template should be avoided and don't bush around the answer to the question I requested for else I would have to assume it is your personal preferences as well. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 07:29, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
@Ss112: Noted on the checking the checkbox for minor edit btw, I explictly meant the minor edit checkbox. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 07:30, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Yes, and using the template on every South Korean singer's page isn't "sparingly", is it? It's widespead use, and I don't think "sparingly" only applies to within each article itself. I never claimed using the template was against MOS, so don't put words into my mouth. I said we should avoid using smaller markup. And you're still ignoring my point. You said you would stop and you're still doing it a week later. Unless they need to be fixed to comply with our minimum font size requirements, you really don't need to be making these personal-preference changes. By the way, this is not my personal preference. Do not try and turn this around on me. I was retaining the way the page was (per the logic of MOS:VAR) before you edited it. Considering I didn't add the tables in the first place, I hardly see how it's my personal preference. I reverted your personal preference change. Ss112 07:32, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Per MOS:VAR, "When either of two styles are acceptable it is inappropriate for a Wikipedia editor to change from one style to another unless there is some substantial reason for the change." You're providing no substantial reasons for the change. A 5% change in font size is not substantial reason for change. Ss112 07:34, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
@Ss112: Could you explain on why it has to be 85% or 90% or basically smaller than 100%??? Because I'm been going around and seeing mixed styling. Why is that the case and why make it small in the first place? Paper9oll (🔔📝) 07:37, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
I'm not going to quibble about why discography formatting is the way it is in the first place. I'm not the person who came up with any such formatting and arguing with me about it isn't going to bring about change, because a user talk page is not the venue for this. I'm just following widespread use. Please just stop fiddling with table and column formatting per MOS:VAR. It's right there in plain text in the guideline I bolded. Thanks. Ss112 07:39, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
@Ss112: As per discussion on Teahouse (which I assumed you followed since you replied there as well even though I'm not looking for your POV, anyway ...), using either which style="font-size:85%" or style="font-size:90%" or small or smaller is allowed and are interchangeable however only one should be used at any one time. However once a style is setted as per WP:VAR, it shouldn't be changed and I won't make further changes to existing article table style other than the column width for title, sales (less likely since around 10em is fittable for millions sales figure, basically this format KOR: 1,000,000[1], at most increase it to 15em max if applicable) and album column. Title and album is likely to grow over time hence don't be surprise or triggered if you see me increasing the width by 1-5em or more depending on how long the title is for new entry data. For newly created article by me, it is up to my own discretion to use either style="font-size" or small/smaller, for consistency, I will use style="font-size:90%". Please note that I was explicitly referring to table styling for studio/single/compilation albums, extended play, singles and soundtrack appearances table only which includes caption, column-width (excluding the title, sales and album columns as mentioned in prior sentence), and font-size for peak chart positions only.
This does not include:
  1. removing extra/unnecessary rowspan="1" or rowspan=1 and ;
  2. adding equal spacing like |rowspan="2"|2021 to | rowspan="2" | 2021
  3. adding quotation marks like | rowspan=2 | 2021 to | rowspan="2" | 2021
  4. changing to
  5. changing to
  6. adding scope="col" and/or scope="row"
  7. adding <br>
  8. changing font-size for | colspan="5" style="font-size:8pt" | "—" denotes releases that did not chart or were not released in that region. to | colspan="5" style="font-size:85%" | "—" denotes releases that did not chart or were not released in that region.
All except point 8 are purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the functionality of the article, which is often done by bots and users with AWB usage approval (which I have the approval btw however I don't it for such tasks which refers to point 1 to 7). For point 8, 8pt is equals to approximately 10.6px which is below the recommended 12px (85%).
That's all I have to say. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 12:21, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you all your pings to me have not worked. I have pings and replies turned off. That being said, it's great to know that you for the most won't be meddling with table formatting. While the users at the Teahouse who commented essentially elaborated on all of what I had already said, you do know that the Teahouse is not a place to gain consensus that affects other pages on Wikipedia, right? It can be cited as a general consensus but it's definitely not binding. It's just a venue for getting help and uninvolved comments on things. As for those eight points: please don't mix up important things like adding rowheaders with you trying to declare it's now okay to still adding cosmetic spaces that don't affect anything. Nobody, least of all me, should take issue with removing unnecessary formatting like rowspan="1"s (I have done that for years myself) and adding rowheaders (scope="col" and scope="row") per MOS:ACCESS (I also do this myself). Those kinds of things are encouraged. I think you're taking my saying and thinking that what you said last week applied to all tables and now being overly specific about what you will and won't alter in future. Some kinds of formatting fixes are beneficial. None of yours to this point have been; they've been cosmetic edits. Now, adding spaces between things like rowspan="2" and the pipe (|)—those are entirely cosmetic and based on personal preference. There is no reason to add spaces all over the place or edit a discography or any section just to add them. I routinely remove these because they're extra spaces that don't need to be there. They make no difference to the appearance of the page, so they are cosmetic and unnecessary. I'm quite sure Ganbaruby and Peter coxhead essentially told you this. Also, considering that the majority of pages you've been altering the formatting of are not pages you started, I don't think "newly created articles" by you and what you've chosen to use on them is really going to be a factor.
I'd like you to consider that there was a subtext in what the users at the Teahouse said that the main thing on Wikipedia you should be concerned about is definitely not table formatting or making purely cosmetic edits. This is still a purely cosmetic edit; adding scope="col" is beneficial, the rest of your edit really wasn't. The main thing you should take away from this is "if it's not broken (or things against MOS like tiny text), don't fix it". I think I speak for Ganbaruby and Peter coxhead when I say that because this is what the gist of what they said. It's pretty simple, really. Ss112 13:50, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
@Ss112: I have pings and replies turned off – Ok noted, that's nothing much I can do about that since I'm just replying and notifying you if possible. Teahouse is not a place to gain consensus – As mentioned on teahouse, I'm not getting consensus but help for my own knowledge in case you misunderstood or misread or mis-something. Now, adding spaces between things like rowspan="2" and the pipe (|)—those are entirely cosmetic and based on personal preference – I'm just following Help:Table examples btw. I don't think "newly created articles" by you – In case you misunderstand what I mean, I'm referring to article, I'm creating in the future (one coming soon by end of April or early May).
Frankly speaking, I free like you're just finding fault with everything I do, while I do admit on that tweaking the table styling part (which was why you started this discussion thread) other than that, my edits is not harmful or vandalism or disruptive. It just seem like you're giving me this vibe that you're just simply not happy with everything I do. If that's not your intention then my apologies/sorry for that. Btw, you can just ignore it like I do sometimes, for instance other editors adding 1 social media links to external links section which as per WP:EL is no no, however I don't really care about the 1 social media links unless they add like 2–5 or more social media links then I will intervent else I will pass by and close one eye. Archiving on public talk pages

I see that you archived your question at the Teahouse. While you have free reign on how archiving works on your own user talk page, on public talk pages, it's bad practice to archive recent threads (less than a month) because it prevents other editors from leaving further feedback. It's less of a deal in the Teahouse, but in other venues, especially article talk pages, please do not manually archive recent threads. Thanks.  Ganbaruby! (Say hi!) 13:55, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

@Ganbaruby: Hi there, noted. I archived it because I gotten the answer. Would take note in the future. Happy editing! Paper9oll (🔔📝) 14:11, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
@Ganbaruby: In case you misunderstood, would like to clear this air. I haven't done such for article talk page at all, if the discussion on article talk page is considered closed or inactive for 2 weeks/months/years then I would either added LSG Bot III, manually archive it or wait for LSG Bot III next run. And like you mentioned on your own talk page to reply to Ss112, that's my intention on archiving the teahouse discussion. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 14:16, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

Suggestions to improve Korean award lists formatting

Hi Paper9oll

Firstly, I wish commend your excellent efforts in consolidating the awards lists of various artists including IU, Blackpink, Red Velvet, GFriend, Twice, Im Yoon-ah, and definitely more that I've missed. I know that doing so is an enormous task but important as well to improve the overall experience for readers—that many casual editors like myself are appreciative of! After looking at the artists awards lists that have been promoted to featured status, I do have a few suggestions to make to your current format that you've applied to Korean artists:

  • Renaming the first column from Award ceremony to Award: reason being some awards don't actually hold ceremonies and Award seems to be the commonly accepted standard across featured lists.
  • Switching the Nominees and Category columns: you may argue this is unnecessary but after reading through 30+ of these lists I did notice that majority of them had the award category next to the result which actually made it easier to identify at a glance which awards the artist actually won if they had been nominated for multiple awards for one work. This is especially the case for popular artists like IU. Featured lists that are set out this way include: Alessia Cara, Björk, Bruno Mars, Demi Lovato, Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, Lorde, Taylor Swift, etc.
  • Reducing the number of references down to 1 or 2 in the refs column: Theres no reason to add more than 1 good quality citation for the same awards won but I know this is sometimes necessary if not all the information can be gathered in one source. However putting 3 or 4 doesn't look great as the ref column becomes much wider in the table. Furthermore, all the featured lists I've looked at mostly contained one citation in the ref column, at most 2.

Keen to hear your thoughts. Best--Alexataylor07 (talk) 06:14, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

@Alexataylor07: Hi there, thanks for the commendation.
  1. Well, I'm not sure too sure if it should be changed. However, you do have a point. Some award doesn't have ceremony however the majority in the list are in fact award ceremony hence 50-50 on this change.
  2. I don't support the change as I don't see the need to, currently most of Korean actor/actress/singer/group/band uses such formatting which is Category first and Nominee second, hence no reason to make it different. This includes featured list (BTS) which I'm referencing my various contrbutions against for Korean actor/actress/singer/group/band awards and nominations list article and/or section. It would become inconvenient to editors mainly editing Korean-related topics instead given that they would be familiarize with the formatting already. It also important to note that, this format (Category first, followed by nominee) is the same format sequence as per Template:Awards table#Format 5.
  3. Depending on the context, if the 1–2 references doesn't state the point (basically failed verification) then having additional 1–2 references isn't really a problem. Given that what we want here in Wikipedia is verification. Btw, Korean news reporting is different from Western news reporting, they don't include information at times which means we have to use additional references to support the data entry. At the same time, there is source like Soompi, Koreaboo, Allkpop which often would have a convenient list of winners and nominations, however these source are unreliable source as per WP:KO/RS#UR hence should/must be avoided as much as possible.
Paper9oll (🔔📝) 06:58, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
You do have valid points so I won't speak much further, but in response:
  1. I think what makes this worth changing is only Korean-related articles I've seen have "Award ceremony", and there are probably a dozen or less editors actively editing these lists anyway, so the majority consensus on Wikipedia is that it should be "Award".
  2. I don't really like the idea of basing every list of one example—Exo is also a featured list but has a different format. The reason beyond inconveniencing editors is that this change is actually very beneficial towards readers and the amount of featured lists using this format (per examples I've mentioned above) supports this. Template:Awards table#Format 5 is quite old and as you probably know many of the newer featured and non-featured awards tables ignores this format anyway.
  3. "if the 1–2 references doesn't state the point" → if they don't state the point then should they even be included as refs? Though I do get your point about reliable news articles oft mentioning only one particular award and not others, etc. Perhaps refs could be grouped but that's an additional hassle I guess.

Anyway that's my two cents. See you around--Alexataylor07 (talk) 07:37, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

@Alexataylor07: You can go ahead and change point 1 which is Award ceremony to Award if you feel it is more accurate representation. However, point 2 and 3 should be retained even though it doesn't matches against other featured list which is majority non-Korean related as I have stated in my view above. Well ... anyways. Happy editing and happy weekend. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 07:41, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

Lightsum

I noticed that you created several Lightsum redirects and I was wondering if that would affect the chances of the Lightsum draft being put in the mainspace. Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 23:03, 27 April 2021 (UTC)

@Btspurplegalaxy: Just don’t submit the draft will do else it will become very problematic due to more strict evaluation. Next time if you feel the article is not ready yet just create it inside your sandbox and once ready just copy-paste into mainspace. Draft is problematic and not recommended because the approving editors are often very strict and fussy which is why I don’t create draft and use my sandbox instead. For lightsum draft once it is ready for mainspace, i will redirect it to mainspace. For now, it is not ready yet. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 08:00, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

Status topicon

Might I ask how you added the status topicon to your page (Saying whether or not you are online)? I would honestly like to use that for myself as I think it would be very useful. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) 13:19, 27 April 2021 (UTC)

@Blaze The Wolf: Hi there, you can check out the code here User:Paper9oll/StatusTemplate, User:Paper9oll/Status and User:Paper9oll/CustomStatus.
StatusTemplate is the code for displaying what is rendered above. Status is the coding to sort which status to be displayed based on the my schedule using if and switch statement. CustomStatus is a manual overwrite based on the conditions coded into Status which is either online, offline and away. So say I'm not free not Saturday, then I will edit CustomStatus to offline so it will stay offline until I blanked the page, if I don't blanked the page (basically remove the status) then I will continue to show offline even on following days (Sunday, Monday, etc). Normally, I don't use CustomStatus but it is there if I needed it.
Overall, the status is based on my schedule and not is designed to be customizable for other editors usage. However, feel free to copy the code to your userspace if you want to use it, but remember to modify it to your schedule. The timing is UTC based, 0 is 8am (depending on your timezone, my timezone is SGT hence I just google SGT to UTC and converting accordingly). Hopefully, you find it useful as I mainly created for my own usage. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 13:41, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
I will definitely find it useful as my schedule is a bit odd so i'm usually not just online or just offline. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) 14:49, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
I am actually having a bit of trouble figuring out how to get it to display correctly. Mind helping me? My timezone is CDT and I sort of have the conversion figure out. I just need to figure out where everything goes and then how to get it to actually display. I currently have them at User:Blaze The Wolf/StatusTemplate and User:Blaze The Wolf/Status just so I don't have to mess around with the code too much to get it to take it from where it needs to. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) 14:56, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
@Blaze The Wolf: You can add this to your user page after that it should display in the top right. You can change the position by playing around with the styling in StatusTemplate to suit your preferences, i simply styled it to display in top right as I prefer that.
So to explain the code for Status:
  1. The code check if CustomStatus is equals to CustomStatus, so if same then I will displayed CustomStatus instead and simply ignore the rest of the code
  2. If not equals then execute switch statement
  3. Switch check for current day using CURRENTDOW
  4. the 1|2|3|4|5= is equals to Monday-Friday which execute this {{{}#switch:CURRENTHOUR|10=online|11=online|12=online|13=online|14=online|15=online|offline}}
  5. So for example, if CURRENTDOW is 1 and it will execute {{{}#switch:CURRENTHOUR|10=online|11=online|12=online|13=online|14=online|15=online|offline}}, same for 2-5. Same for 0 or 6, then I will execute the next line of code after the 0|6=
  6. CURRENTHOUR operates the same as CURRENTDOW, is the current day is 5 (friday) and current hour is 10 then online will execute. If current day is 5 (friday) and current hour is 9 then offline will execute because 9 is not declared with any status.
Depending on your schedule, you can either declare each day individually by doing so 1=switch statement here|2=switch statement|3=switch statement|4=switch statement|5=switch statement|6=switch statement|0=switch statement Or days where you think the schedule would be around the same you can just consolidate it, for example 1=switch statement|2|3|4=switch statement|5=switch statement, so 1 and 5 will be different schedule while 2-4 will have same schedule. Remember to change the switch statement to actual code and remember to add {} similar to my coding as well else sometimes it won't work.
So what you need to change is the days (depend) and the timing which is the 10=online|11=online|12=online|13=online|14=online|15=online for Monday-Friday and 4=online|5=online|6=online|7=online|8=online|9=online|10=online|11=online|12=online|13=online|14=online|15=online for Saturday and Monday. If you want to merge Saturday and Sunday together just amend 1|2|3|4|5= to 1|2|3|4|5|6|0= and remove |0|6={{{}#switch:CURRENTHOUR|4=online|5=online|6=online|7=online|8=online|9=online|10=online|11=online|12=online|13=online|14=online|15=online|offline}}}}
This documentation on magic words would be handy if you need it. And documentation for parser functions, basically the if statement and switch statement.

Infobox

Hi! I've noticed that your infobox is really neat and cool. Wanted to ask if you're able to guide me through in making my those (if able)! Thank you in advance. YehWolf [🐺 🍒] 10:31, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

@YehWolf: Please check out Template:Infobox for the instructions on how to create one. Alternatively, you can just copy the Full blank syntax to your userspace (for example, User:YehWolf/Infobox) and fill in the necessary fields.
The below parameters are optional, you can delete the entire row if you want.
| name =
| child          = {}
| subbox         = {}
| italic title   = {no}
These are optional as well, depending on whether you want to have a header for your infobox, for example displaying your name there.
| titlestyle =
| abovestyle =
| subheaderstyle =
| title =
| above =
| subheader =
Same for all the images parameter as Wikipedia have every strict image use policy, most uploaded images are not allowed on userspace hence they are pretty much useless.
| imagestyle =
| captionstyle =
| image =
| caption =
| image2 =
| caption2 =
The below is optional as well.
| belowstyle =
| below =
The rest of syntax not mentioned here are important and needed.
For these parameters:
  1. headerstyle is the separator row which for my case, is the one with pink background and white text.
  2. labelstyle is for the 1st column styling.
  3. datastyle is for the 2nd column styling.
| headerstyle =
| labelstyle =
| datastyle =
Next, you would need to fill in:
  1. headerX (eg – header1), optional.
  2. labelX (eg – label1), the 1st column.
  3. datax (eg – data1), the 2nd column.
| header1 =
| label1 =
| data1 =
The overall coding would looks something like this, just a quick example I created. Make sure the label and data numbering are same else you won't work, for example see label1 and data1. Header works differently, see header8 for example. Header spans two columns hence there is no need for label8 or data8. Basically, the increment numbering is the defining the row, so label1 and data1 are row1, label2 and data2 are row2, etc.

Hopefully, you get the idea. If you are still unsure, do feel free to reply. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 12:17, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

Arranger category on KOMCA credits

Hi, thank you for your help in merging ASTRO Rocky pages. I noticed on the edited version though that in the Discography section, the arranger category is deleted. May I ask for the reason for this? Based on the KOMCA search there are three creditable categories namely lyrics writing, comosition, and arrangement. I am wondering if we can add the last category to provide more accurate information to the readers? For your guidance. Thank you very much. Mheira225 (talk) 06:14, 7 May 2021 (UTC)

@Mheira225: Hi there, I have fixed it. Apparently, I didn't see the 1 yes at the last row and only thought I was for the unnecessary with column. Thanks for pointing it out. Happy editing! Paper9oll (🔔📝) 06:38, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
@Mheira225: As for the credits to All Yours that you added, I'm not sure if Rocky was credited with Arranger. Maybe you could fix it with he happened to be credit as such. I simply corrected the table using the previous revision before merger. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 06:41, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
@Paper9oll: hi! thanks a lot for helping out. I'll look into the source site to confirm things and put it out as edit. Thanks and have a nice day! Mheira225 (talk) 17:46, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

Information was not removed from the article. It has been placed in new sections to make the information more easily accessible in the article for new readers. You should be able to find all the information still there in the new table of contents. Could you restore the edits. ErnestKrause (talk) 15:07, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

@ErnestKrause:  Done Please make sure your edit summary is clearer in the future. In addition, if rearranging content, please do not remove it in one revision and then add it back in another revision, this can lead to confusion for other editors such as this situation. Re: Kim So-yeon

Hello, It's my first time editing a Wikipedia page and I keep getting the formatting wrong it may seem like I'm vandalizing the page, but I'm actually trying to fix the mistakes I'm making.Marchmadness06 (talk) 15:01, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

@Marchmadness06: Hi there, as mentioned in your talk page. The award that you are trying to add is included in the list hence there is no need for you to make further changes to it. The styling is prefect already hence I don't see what formatting issues you're referring to. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 15:05, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
The award I'm trying to add isn't on Kim soyeon's awards list. I was actually waiting for another wiki user to add it, but it seems like there weren't any users adding to the page so I decided to do it myself. And the constant changes are due to me making formatting errors once that I don't notice before publishing. It's been taking me over 30 minutes to add the award and I had to use another winner'ss wiki page for some assistant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marchmadness06 (talkcontribs) 15:12, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
@Marchmadness06: Please look carefully again, as mentioned the award you're trying to add which is Best Actress (TV) for The Penthouse: War in Life is already included in the list. Fortunately, I can't show you an screenshot of it. But it is under row 3 (Baeksang Arts Awards) and under 2021 of row 3. Kim So-yeon only nominated for Best Actress (TV) award and she also won only that award hence your argument on adding an missing award to the list doesn't make any sense at all. If you don't know how to format correctly, please test it under your sandbox first. Alternatively, you can check out Help:Table on how to edit table correctly. Please don't around articles and test your edits live there, this is not allowed. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 15:20, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
The award isn't added to her wiki page though, It's listed on the baeksang awards page but it's not added to her other list on awards like the other winners' pages are. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marchmadness06 (talkcontribs) 15:44, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
@Marchmadness06: I already told you a lot of times, it is there. Did you even bother to check the table, it is listed under row 3 of Award ceremony column? Or are you're just blindly saying it is not there because you wanted to add your edits there when it is already there.? Also if possible, please provide the link to what you meant by it's not added to her other list on awards like the other winner' pages are because as mentioned, the award you're trying to add is already there hence it make zero sense. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 15:51, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

@Marchmadness06: As told you couple of times, the award you're trying to add is already there. It doesn't matter if the table styling is different, the table styling used on Kim So-yeon article is the latest updated styling version. What you're adding is essentially the same as what is already included.

Existing version

| rowspan="2" | Best Actress (TV)

Your edit

| 2021
| Best Actress (TV)
| The Penthouse War: In Life
| Won

Compare style="text-align:center" | 2021 with 57th Baeksang Arts Awards. They are both the same, except the former is piped to use year and has styling, other than that they are the same. The award category name and nominated work is also the same hence what you're doing is purely disruptive despite me telling you couple of times to not continue with your action. Re: Awaken(TV series)

Hello, Its not been long since I started editing Wikipedia articles. And I am not even sure if this is the way I am supposed to communicate with you in this talk page. But anyways, I couldn't find any relevant data or article to cite about the series being in Netflix. I am sure because I am currently watching it in Netflix, it was recently added. But I am not sure whether its available in all countries. So I guess my edit could be misleading. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.210.36.81 (talk) 18:48, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

@Special:Contributions/37.210.36.81 Hi there, if there is no reliable source to state it is airing on Netflix than it shouldn't be included. The international broadcast section is supposed to be for TV network only however over time because no one actually bother to maintain the older articles, they become infested with non-TV network as well which is often unsourced or badly sourced. As you have said, "I am not sure whether its available in all countries", in my opinion it shouldn't be included as it would be inaccurate and misleading because not all if not all of Netflix shows are available worldwide, certain shows are available in Country A but not in Country B due to various reasons including licensing. Hopefully, this answer your question. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 04:07, 26 May 2021 (UTC)

Help

Hello I want to be a Mover or Page mover user or content reviewer? what requirements for this? Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hyunsukie (talkcontribs) 07:58, 29 May 2021 (UTC)

@Hyunsukie: What pages you would like to move? As you're not eligible for page mover nor content reviewer user rights at the moment as you just created your account recently and have lack of experience in order to achieve such user rights. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 08:08, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
Oh ok, any pages but in right page I don't want to vandalized all pages. I want to be a wikipedia. BTW I'm Korean I'm not good in Korean but I'm from Korea Wikipedia and accidentally being editor in Tagalog Wikipedia beacuse I really love to see and read other languages like explore or travel I really love Wikipedia. Thank you Hyunsukie (talk) 09:44, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
@Hyunsukie: As in what pages you would like to move? You are not eligible for page mover nor content reviewer at this stage as page mover user rights requires 3000+ edits to the mainspace and other requirements, new page reviewer user rights requires you to meet various requirements such as edit count, minimum number of articles created and many more. If you would like to make simple move, please see HELP:MOVE on how to do it. But please do not go around and anyhow move pages even if your action is WP:BOLD as continuously doing so will result in your account getting blocked. If you're unsure if the page should be moved, please open requested move discussion on that article talk page where other editors will give their opinions on whether to support or oppose the move, you can read more about it through the linked article. Hopefully this answered any queries you have, if you still have further queries, do feel free to reply to this discussion thread. Thanks you and happy editing! Paper9oll (🔔📝) 09:58, 29 May 2021 (UTC)

Edit Request

Hello, This is Inyourarea123. I noticed that there's a LOT of missing informations about the List of Blackpink Awards and Nominations. Can I have a favor for edit request because I can't able to put it on the Main Table of the awards list. Thank you!

@Inyourarea123::
  1. Break the Internet Awards  Not done – Doesn't seem to be an award to me.
  2. Guinness World Records  Already done – Please double check the table before requesting in the future.
  3. Vevo Certified Awards  Not done – Should be included in the Sour Candy (Lady Gaga and Blackpink song) article instead in either prose form or table form.
  4. SSE(SSE plc in Wiki) Live Awards  Not done – As previously discussed in Talk:List of awards and nominations received by Blackpink/Archive 1#Questionable awards in article and Talk:List of awards and nominations received by Blackpink/Archive 1#BLACKPINK Updates of Awards, Listicles..
  5. Wowie(World of Wonder in Wiki) Awards  Not done – As previously discussed in Talk:List of awards and nominations received by Blackpink/Archive 1#Questionable awards in article and Talk:List of awards and nominations received by Blackpink/Archive 1#BLACKPINK Updates of Awards, Listicles..
  6. YouTube Creator Award  Not done – Creator award should not be included in the awards and nominations table but could be mentioned in Blackpink article is prose form however do note that it will or will not be removed by other editors if they feel/think it is not important enough to be mentioned. However, if you feel it is important enough then go ahead and add them in Blackpink article as per WP:BOLD but as mentioned in prior sentence, it will or will not be removed by other editors.

@Paper9oll: Why you didn't added the Guiness World Records on the list? I already give you reliable source about that and you said that you will add it but I didn't see it until now? Inyourarea123 (talk) 08:03, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
@Inyourarea123: As mentioned above, I told you to double check it before requesting however I seem like you are not clearly checking. Please see List of awards and nominations received by Blackpink#World records, there is separate table for world records and it shouldn't be listed under Infobox as well. Also SSE Live Awards is a legit award from SSE company in UK. There's a physical trophy that was given to the artist when they won so why you aren't consider it as an award? You can search it if your not satisfied to my source Inyourarea123 (talk) 10:27, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
You're being unfair to our girls tbh. We've worked hard just to win and get those awards just to make our girls happy yet y'all are just ignoring it. Inyourarea123 (talk) 10:30, 30 May 2021 (UTC)

@Inyourarea123: As mentioned by Carlobunnie in Talk:List of awards and nominations received by Blackpink/Archive 1#Questionable awards in article. Please read it and I agree with her. A quick Google search doesn't return much coverage either, mostly primary source and self-published source. And btw, no one is being unfair here, Wikipedia have rules on what information to be included. Please read WP:NOTABILITY and WP:FANCRUFT btw, because you're clearly WP:NOTHERE. Baemon

I noticed that you made a redirect for Baemon. I was wondering if you think that might be their name. Because Baby Monster has also been trademarked. Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 18:01, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

@Btspurplegalaxy: No one is exactly sure other than YG staff if that would their girl group upcoming actual name. I create Baemon and Baby Monster and tagging it with R to related topic because it is related topic. Btw, I also create Pink Punk which is redirected to Blackpink article, Pink Punk is Blackpink initial name in case you're curious. For now they are redirected to YG Entertainment because it is not notable enough nor meets any guidelines/requirements/standards/policies to warrant an article.
However, if either of names are the actual name, then the redirect can be removed once their first debut single/EP/album has an confirmation release date. For instance, if Baby Monster is the actual name then the redirect can be replaced with the article coding (Infobox, lead section, etc) by simple going to the redirect and clicking edit and pasting the article coding and saving it. Then for Baemon, simply change the target to Baby Monster article. Currently, Baby Monster article is a redirect to Baby monster group (yes, I restore the initial target, you shouldn't be changing the target unnecessarily as currently the only topic related to Baby monster is indeed Baby monster group hence the target should be that article and furthermore, it is mentioned in the article as suppose to changing target to YG which isn't mentioned at all). Paper9oll (🔔📝) 01:19, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
I may have changed it too soon, however it is not out of the question that the redirect could be used since I asked about it. When it is time for them to have their own page, this can be considered. Any idea when they might release more information? Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 01:39, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
@Btspurplegalaxy: Regarding, when the article can be ready. I would suggest maybe 5 days before the release date of their debut release because I think you're following Lightsum article which is currently tagged with notability templates which I have argued with another editor on because the same treatment wasn't applied to Aespa article when the redirect was removed back in November 2020. I actually removed the redirect 15 days before the release of their single/single album which is the same amount of days that Aespa article redirect was removed. However, 15 days before will also do.
For more information, I like you isn't sure about it either. Currently, I only know is it likely a teenager-themed concept (girls would likely be below 18 years old), member count is around 4-6 even though it is also rumoured to be 8 members as well. Nothing is actually confirmed yet, other than they would debut around Q3 or Q4 2021 according to YG reply to press media. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 02:29, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

Penthouse 3 (Part 1, 2 and 3 of episode 1) is in the top 3 position, however to differentiate which part of episode 1 is the correct ratings, you have to search Naver for the actual results. Re: BTS GA

My agreement with much of your statement from the BTS Talk page when you state that: "In my opinion, just leave the nomination as it is, someone (the reviewer) will review it and leave comments if it were to fail of which the comments can be used to further improve the article. If it passed then ... good then." From the other editors, it appears that they would prefer for one of the top editors from the page to be involved in the peer review nomination. Possibly you might consider to join in for co-nomination of the article? ErnestKrause (talk) 21:34, 10 June 2021 (UTC)

@ErnestKrause: I do agree with the other editors opinion as well because both Carlo and Lirim are top contributors to the article in question. Maybe what they likely fear is other editors stealing their spotlight with the nomination in a sense of publishing the archivements in their user page, I saw some editors did that even though they are not the one of the top contributor, after that if the GA passed they displayed it as archivements in their user page. Btw, this is not a problem with ownership or not but rather hardwork and time put into it. As for why I say "just leave the nomination as it is" because judging from the conversation and your replies, it is unlikely you will withdraw the nomination. And pertaining to joining in as co-nomination, sorry I don't wish to. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 00:40, 11 June 2021 (UTC)

What is lead?

@Badassboy 63637: Hi there, lead section (which is also called Introduction) is the paragraph after the Infobox. Which from your draft is starting from "Vikas Oberoi (Born 1969) is an ..." to "As of June 2021, he has a net ...". The body of the article is from the Personal life section till Philanthropy section and the References section is footer of the article. You can find out more about the various term at MOS:LAYOUT. Thanks :) And please tell how to add that online status in my profile. And thank you so so much for your help :)Badassboy 63637 (talk) 13:39, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
@Badassboy 63637: Online status is a custom made template by me. If you want to add it to your profile, here is code which you need to copy and paste into User:Badassboy 63637/StatusTemplate.
<div style="position: absolute; top: 0; right: 0; font-size: 100%; font-weight: bold"><span style="user-select:none">Status: (Refresh status)</span></div>

And the backend coding which is UTC time-based for whatever your schedule is, mine is Monday-Friday (8am to 12am) and Saturday-Sunday (12pm - 12am). You need to copy and paste the below code to User:Badassboy 63637/Status.

{{{}#if:{{{}User:Badassboy 63637/CustomStatus}}|{{{}User:Badassboy 63637/CustomStatus}}|{{{}#switch:CURRENTDOW|1|2|3|4|5={{{}#switch:CURRENTHOUR|0=online|1=online|2=online|3=online|4=online|5=online|6=online|7=online|8=online|9=online|10=online|11=online|12=online|13=online|14=online|15=online|16=online|offline}}|0|6={{{}#switch:CURRENTHOUR|4=online|5=online|6=online|7=online|8=online|9=online|10=online|11=online|12=online|13=online|14=online|15=online|offline}}}}}}

You may have notice there is User:Badassboy 63637/CustomStatus, this page is optional. But basically allows you to manually set which status you want (online, offline or away) and the status will remain with you set until you blank the page.

After you're done with the timing, copy and paste this code to User:Badassboy 63637 and paste it at the top.

Re: Hello (Joy EP)

Paper9oll, I know we had a disagreement over your unnecessary re-formatting of wikitables however many weeks ago, but contrary to what you might think, you don't need to find any excuse to edit articles straight after me, whether you think this is important because you're archiving sources or not. This is not the first time you've done this and I guess it won't be the last. What you should be more focused on is the editor MotherofSnakes inserting swathes of non-neutral, un-attributed, poor-grammar text on articles you created, yet this was days ago and the only change you made to their nonsense was this. As a somewhat experienced editor by this point, surely you should know taking text directly from sources without indicating it is a quote because it's "not between quotation marks like this" violates WP:COPYVIO? Editors themselves should not be describing anybody's vocals as "mature" or their music as "groovy" without taking these assertions from sources and then putting them between quotation marks to show that they are quotes. @HueMan1: Yup, your image is not consider bad but I would suggest using it in the body section rather the infobox due the members are not exactly standing in straight line or in staggered position (top, middle, bottom / top and bottom). Unless, you can find better non-copyright recent version (2019–present) of their images otherwise I would suggest maintaining either the current slightly lower resolution (when clicked into full image) or rollback to revision 1028553677 image.
